"Class overtake" at 17:00 lmao all four tyres were off the track. You'd never get away with that in real life or even on strict corner cutting
@@DanTheStripe exactly, the rules he's playing with allows for it to that extent, so assuming that that was the limit, and going beyond that would be an illegal overtake, it's class, cause he pushed it to the limit

I recently started playing f1 again and i’ve started using the cockpit view. You can adjust the camera in the settings and it’s actually really fun from that view

Hey Josh, just wanted to say that u should really think about underfuelling the car as u barely use much fuel in season 2 and season 3 andthis will gain u so much acceleration and launch from corners and off the start
His car is so fuel-efficient I think he can run rich mix the entire race if he puts in +2.5 laps of fuel
I just clocked that the stands has zero people. Whoever made this mod needs a shoutout.
For the corners, normally what I do is I just let go of the accelerator rather than just pushing on the brake because the car pushes through coming out of the corner faster, I also change my gears in accordance to when they need to be changed so when I go into a corner to slow down i press X (on xbox) to change my gear lower to help slow me down and I press A (on xbox) when the LED indicator is ready to change so I can go faster quicker - but when there are cars in front of me then I do use the break I just try not to use the brake as much as possible

Love this series!!! Just a couple of tips that help me so maybe be of use to you. Theres an option in the menu to have have a rear view mirror so saves you ha I g to look back all the time. And secondly when theres a safety car or vsc switch fuel to low, allows you to save fuel and use rich longer when you need it

To stop going wide use a setup from someone like sim racing setups to eliminate the understeer

I love this series so much
I notice you running out of ERS deployment before the end of laps. The most efficient use of ERS is short bursts to help with acceleration out of slow corners. Sometimes I see you running out of deployment before you even get to Sector 3. This is detrimental at Canada as Sector 3 is all straights except for one corner and one chicane. And the first 2 sectors have more corners, needing less ERS.
Don't run Overtake all the way down the straights. Just use it until you get to 7th gear. That way, you always have enough ERS to get you to near top speed at every straight without worrying about running out before each lap. You lose so much speed when deployment each lap runs out.
Also, the car at this point is so advanced that total deployment won't ever run out, but allowance per lap never changes, so it will still affect lap times. ERS management is even more critical in online races as your total ERS charge never changes. I would also suggest taking off braking assists as it seems it is making you brake way too early. If you don't have them on, you need to be breaking when you hit the red part of the racing line. Never brake while you are still on the green or yellow sections of the racing line assist.
Watching this is like watching Hamilton at turn 4 Bahrain
In some corners you cutt to much, try to follow thru the lines, that will make you turn less and then faster accalarate in the exit.

Check ur tyres when staying out as if the over 75 percent they will burst so checking allows u to know how long you can stay out please read this

I suggest that you turn on manual starts for the races, so you have more control over the starts, instead of getting the perfect start each time. Manual starts are really easy to do, so it wouldn't be a massive change.
When the line is green coming out of a corner pls accelerate as soon as it tell you to, because you seem to have some sort of traction control on so you won’t spin out

josh u can’t brake for the hairpin bc of ur brake bias. U had it at 50 so the front won’t stop in time so u need to increase the bias which means that u will stop better bc the higher the percentage the more of the brakes is applied to the front tires than the rears whereas the lower means that it will start to apply less to the front and more to the rear tires

Titles "1000IQ strategy" but never looks at the strategy page 🤦♂️ (unless he did on stream, but I doubt it since if he did, he would have seen rain was expected near the end of Canada and adjusted the strategy accordingly...)
You should do manual pit stops. They are a bit quicker.

Use more fuel! You ideally should end on an empty tank, also reduce fuel load at the start to reduce the weight of the car

If you mess up your qualifying lap and have plenty of time left in the session just take the lap as a slow practise lap and go again on the same tyres. If you got slow it will preserve the tyres. Probably already been said but in case it hadn't here's my comment. Thanks Josh :)

Just some advice, try practice racing with anti lock brakes off and traction control on medium or off because if u perfect it u can be so much faster and will be able to play on higher difficulties
