Hi girl, I'm thinking of selling my financed car coz I might be a full time student next year and have no permanent job currently and won't be able to take on full time studies and a full time 12hr shift job. So my situation will be to sell and walk away from owning a vehicle. Now my car does have damage which I haven't claimed for, and the inconvenience with claiming for them in preps for selling is the time it will take...I'll be carless while they fix it yet when it comes back I'll have to them officially be handing it over to the buyer if the time frames align. But also the excess on the repairs is not axactly money prepared to part with currently,as i can still be left with a chunk to settle either way 🤷🏽♀️ maybe we can first discuss the difference they'd pay if I repair first vs if I let them sort it out. Now I hear you say there's a 3months notice to the back for 250k+...so when do I give that notice I'd I don't know when I'll be able to agree on a deal? What if it takes longer...does that matter? And what if I get a deal sooner than 3months..does that mean the person buying will wait for that 3months before paying the money into the finance account or can they transfer it to me and I'm left to make that arrangement when the time comes? Or do we have to hold off the trade until we're at 3months+?
