Hi john i think when you hear you have cancer it is an enormous shock i had a diagnosis of goblet cell adenocarcinoma in my appendix i could not believe the doctor i was so ill from my rotting appendix for many years i recall the extreme fatigue and that was teens of yrs before my diagnosis i had surgery debulking removal of my omentum open surgery my ascending colon and resection im just starting the fourth of a 5yr survival its left at a scan every yr and bloods its such a rare cancer its impossible to find a group for support what broke my heart was how many of my family members stepped away and have failed to reconnect my partner included i am so very very happy to hear how well you doing but i feel its like living with a stalker on your shoulder most days im good but some days im flipped right back to the dr telling me at the beginning i had 2 terrific consultants God bless you and i pray you get to make old bones ❤❤❤❤
Kinda interesting for me as I have the same diagnosis. Similarities are I am also sleeping a lot longer - well I guess my body just needs it. So far my treatment has been successful but I know it is going to come back sometime. Also agree about just living (just get going with that bucket list!) and not worrying.
John didn't have any symptoms! It was a routine exam, and his bloodwork came back abnormal. Looking back at pictures, John did notice swollen lymph nodes, but he never thought anything of it at the time.
John's a realistic and positive guy. He doesn't ask why he has cancer; he certainly is not a victim. So glad he is in remission.
thank you for the kind comment!
Keeping you in prayer John
thank you for listening to his story!
Of all the cancers to get, his has the best prognosis and the overall longest survival rate.
we wish a happy, long, healthy life for John!
I admire your bravery and your good attitude. I hope that your remission lasts a long time.

bignoknow is another youtuber with the same diagnosis as you.
Thank you for sharing ❤
My uncle had FL. He is doing beautifully. Then my dad had LPL and DLBC.

He never said what it was that finally worked for him
he experienced a combination of clinical trials
When you say that a treatment had failed, based on blood tests? Scans? I appreciate your thought process, things to consider.
yes, blood tests and scans showed numerous treatment plans had not changed the state or spread of his cancer.
This was very vague. What symptoms should we look out for?
