What up Jamal! Glad to see you're doing well. I've been following you for years now. I was finally able to buy a vette last year. Dont sweat the vids, do your thing and upload when you want. Lifes to short to do things you dont want to.
@@JamalsGarage Go for it. Mine makes a bit more power than yours (708 at the wheel...) and it handles it. In part, that is because I do not use drag tires. I use the same low profile road race tires for street, strip, or road trip. I do not even change the tire pressure. That limits traction off the line, but that, in turn, reduces the shock from the launch. I've run a best of 11.9@124 with a DA of 8800 feet. You can tell from the trap speed that the ET could be at least a full second faster if I used drag tires and tinkered with the suspension. But no. My build was all about compromise. I wanted a car that does respectably well at the strip (11.9@124 is, I would say), while still being good on track days (it is), and still usable as a daily driver or road tripper (it is).

Thank you bro and big congrats!
The boy is back!
Always nice to see some new Jamal’s garage content! I think you forgot to mention some recent big life events 😉

Man that C5 is my
Dream setup. EB on classics. In fact I’m thinking of selling my 2015 GT to purchase a C5Z.
I still need to come see the c5 in person at some point lol
Nice whips 🚗
I think i saw you in dallas not too long ago
Put it on a road course.
Hell yeah bro! We should collab sometime, I’ll be moving to Dallas in July 🤙🏽
500 up
What does your C5 run in the quarter mile? Ive always been goijg back and forth between a C5 and C6. Also the cadillac is nice as well!!!
I've never raced it in the quarter. Not sure it will be able to take the hard launches LOL
