To see so much conflict between your spiritual path & what you do and the pressure from people in your private life to make a distance from sanatana dharma as it is seen as a fascist Hindutva thing from many liberal leftists is really sad. Ex : Akshay Kumar’s episode he was so dominating and trying to make your podcast look small by mocking your questions on death and all… but your subscribers want to listen about death, life and purpose.. we don’t need Bollywood interviews just reject podcasting with them. 39:53 49:41 Amount of attacks on the psyche and thought process of children and teenagers has grown exponentially in recent years. So it is important to beware. When you are a child, you think your love for toys is ultimate and forever. Urges and fantasies are like that. 56:51 The 5 senses constantly search for corresponding objects to devour. Eyes = hungry for devouring beautiful form of food, objects, opposite sex, etc. Ears = hungry for sensual music, self-glorification, temporary pleasurable music Nose = hungry for intoxicating scents and excessively cooked food Mouth = hungry for excessive food that tastes good even after fulfilment even if it has no nutritional value Skin = hungry for touch for pleasure Retirement of the senses from constant compulsive wanting of such objects is necessary. It is done by applying a certain force which human tends to not enjoy. There is no natural time for retirement hence we put effort consciously and willingly. It requires a certain amount of discipline. Discipline is fusion of intention with action. Best time to exercise the muscle of discipline is in childhood. These objects are the excessive 'ahaars' for our senses, adding weight of karma and pain on top of your soul. Key to conquer them is to do fasting of the senses. Fasting the senses by denying such pleasurable objects weakens desire to do so. Just like fasting from food helps you lose excess weight, fasting from indulging in lustful activities help you lose weight of lust in you leading to unwanted karmic trap. (Rasavarjyam) - it gives us spiritual benefits. Rasopyasya (even though it tastes and feels excellent), you choose to deny it for moral and spiritual benefits (Rasovarjyam). The strength to do so comes from knowing and actively praying to a Higher power- Paramdrishtwa. One's senses' appetite gets filled with spiritual ahaar so that the senses automatically reject insignificant pleasures/ ahaars. Vicious cycle. Reconditioning one's tastes and preferences can lead to a natural appreciation for healthier alternatives. Spiritual pleasure makes individuals overcome their desires for sense pleasures. Balancing pleasure and desire with discrimination or judgment of its worth is crucial for controlling the mind and resisting temptations. Sanga/ surrounding oneself with individuals who demonstrate self-control strengthens one's ability to resist temptations. The goal of spirituality is to rise above desires and find ways of pleasing God rather than oneself. One who is a slave of temptations is like a wooden door infested with termites. Looks majestic from the outside with royal carvings but with one knock, get completely disintegrated. Such a person is devastated when life gets a little difficult. It is not a choice, but a necessity. 1:11:30 1:33:32 Arjuna to Krishna: When will the battle of sense objects and pleasure trying to make you a slave be over? Ans: It won't end until the soul leaves the mortal body. So, a 'spiritual seeker' must be like a shelter- never putting his guards down ever and not letting these control you, leading to bad decisions and again falling into the karmic trap. Talking about spirituality and good karma/charity is like tasting the outside of a bottle. Doing it with good intentions regularly is drinking the nectar inside it. Maya is a servant of the Lord, dictating who will attain moksha. It is a gatekeeper that only allows qualified people in, the ones who can surpass and conquer it. Death is the exam, life is the preparation.

49:41 Amount of attacks on the psyche and thought process of children and teenagers has grown exponentially in recent years. So it is important to beware.
When you are a child, you think your love for toys is ultimate and forever. Urges and fantasies are like that.
56:51 The 5 senses constantly search for corresponding objects to devour. Eyes = hungry for devouring beautiful form of food, objects, opposite sex, etc.
Ears = hungry for sensual music, self-glorification, temporary pleasurable music
Nose = hungry for intoxicating scents and excessively cooked food
Mouth = hungry for excessive food that tastes good even after fulfilment even if it has no nutritional value
Skin = hungry for touch for pleasure
Retirement of the senses from constant compulsive wanting of such objects is necessary. It is done by applying a certain force which human tends to not enjoy. There is no natural time for retirement hence we put effort consciously and willingly. It requires a certain amount of discipline. Discipline is fusion of intention with action. Best time to exercise the muscle of discipline is in childhood.
These objects are the excessive 'ahaars' for our senses, adding weight of karma and pain on top of your soul. Key to conquer them is to do fasting of the senses. Fasting the senses by denying such pleasurable objects weakens desire to do so. Just like fasting from food helps you lose excess weight, fasting from indulging in lustful activities help you lose weight of lust in you leading to unwanted karmic trap. (Rasavarjyam) - it gives us spiritual benefits. Rasopyasya (even though it tastes and feels excellent), you choose to deny it for moral and spiritual benefits (Rasovarjyam). The strength to do so comes from knowing and actively praying to a Higher power- Paramdrishtwa. One's senses' appetite gets filled with spiritual ahaar so that the senses automatically reject insignificant pleasures/ ahaars. Vicious cycle.
Reconditioning one's tastes and preferences can lead to a natural appreciation for healthier alternatives. Spiritual pleasure makes individuals overcome their desires for sense pleasures.
Balancing pleasure and desire with discrimination or judgment of its worth is crucial for controlling the mind and resisting temptations. Sanga/ surrounding oneself with individuals who demonstrate self-control strengthens one's ability to resist temptations.
The goal of spirituality is to rise above desires and find ways of pleasing God rather than oneself.
One who is a slave of temptations is like a wooden door infested with termites. Looks majestic from the outside with royal carvings but with one knock, get completely disintegrated. Such a person is devastated when life gets a little difficult. It is not a choice, but a necessity.

Ans: It won't end until the soul leaves the mortal body. So, a 'spiritual seeker' must be like a shelter- never putting his guards down ever and not letting these control you, leading to bad decisions and again falling into the karmic trap.
Talking about spirituality and good karma/charity is like tasting the outside of a bottle. Doing it with good intentions regularly is drinking the nectar inside it.
Maya is a servant of the Lord, dictating who will attain moksha. It is a gatekeeper that only allows qualified people in, the ones who can surpass and conquer it.
Death is the exam, life is the preparation.
