Is he pure evil, though? Was it his choice to be turned into what he is now? Did Jerome’s laughing gas make him crazy, or was he secretly always that way and doing his best to hide it?
Rosé Son Goku I think that the gas did that to him because he had opportunities to kill jim and bruce so if he was pure evil he would have taken advantage and killed them.

@Super Man. He already tried to kill Jim by blowing up his bunker with Jim in it. And he doesn't want to kill Bruce. He wants to turn him into a monster like him. At Jerome's grave Jeremiah even said "If I want to kill you I'll just do it. I'll shoot you in the head." The gas did nothing to him because a gas designed to drive people mad isn't going to work on someone who already is.

Jesus this is truly wonderful my friend, Jeremiah is the second best Joker of all time and that episode was the best of Gotham in my opinion. The only thing that would’ve made the episode better was if he had crawled out of the chemicals like The Killing Joke
