UPDATE: I have a theory about Rubber Banding. I'm sure you've noticed that sometimes when you vault it makes no sound, and it looks like you vault a little faster. That probably changes your normal location ingame and then you rubber band to fix said location.
honestly bhvr should've made a high framerate option long ago, for pc and current gen consoles alike. being locked on 60 fps with vsync on is a horrible experience, and having the option to go to 120 / 144 fps in the settings should be a built in option.
Considering most players go into game files to create a better experience (like uncapping frames since bhvr doesn't offer those settings in-game), this explanation rings true to me.
Eh it's not that simple sadly. Do they always do things slowly? Yes. Do they always fix stuff way too late? Yes. But sometimes it's not 100% their fault
Ever since the resident evil chapter release, the performance of this game has been unacceptable. Also, next gen consoles are basically running on PC hardware. They should have a 120hz option.
Is game updates really tied to FPS though? This seems like a bad idea. If your FPS is really low the killer and teammates would see you update fewer times? Say your FPS is 10, would you move with "10 fps"? I don't think it's tied to FPS but is handled separately somehow.
It's not tied to FPS, but the fps limit and the server tick rate happen to be the same number (60). If you have less than 60 fps, there wouldn't be a problem because all of your frames would have new info.

They really need to add actual graphics settings in the game. Like any game released in the last 10 years.
@@sumurtugu Another way we can tell they don't know what they are doing.

its making my killer games unplayable, not being able to catch survivors at all during chases. needs fixed asap
yeah same. came back for the anniversary event, and at least 3 times a game, I jump back
Welp two years after this and it's really bad lately
It has pretty much always been their fault. I remember when you would rubber band on every single window and that stayed for years.
they dont play the game outside of office. OBVIOUSLY. if they did, all this wouldve BEEN resolved.

@@sumurtugu thanks for replying. i do understand i know nothing about game dev. i will lol and just carry on. nice vid !
3:00 Yeah, like bhvr does literally every time they touch something.

Ironic why DBD crash my whole pc sometimes... Only DBD and no other video games could freeze my whole desktop like its my hardware fault...
I noticed that using Deliverance makes you rubber band
Unhooking yourself always kinda rubberbands you for some reason

Quality content but it could be shorter Video
i believe that 3.5 minutes was fine and full of information
"This is speculation". WHY DONT YOU TRY IT THEN. 5k views with 140 thumbsup says something
Cause even if it is *one* of the reasons, it won't solve anything considering this happens to everyone, on every platform, and is BHVR's fault
