It still failed him bad if he learned so much, and is also so smart, but had no real opportunities or the right environment to thrive. That's a big failure imo. He could have been a president one day.

@@adalon378 you make the mistake of thinking smart ppl would want to be president these days. If you’re truly smart, you’d never be a politician.
Also, just because someone is smart, a good/likeable person, funny, etc. does not mean they’d be a good president, or be able to be president. I personally don’t think Ranboo would have ever been president if things were different, and I don’t think he would have wanted to. It may be a prestigious position, but it’s not a fun job.
“Why do I know this? I don’t know why I know this” is definitely just the American education system in a nutshell, as an American I can confirm

As an American who memorized the countries of the world in 6th grade (for fun), this hurt to watch.

It’s the way I bet like 30 percent of that knowledge came from school and the rest of it was just from a Google search at 3 am that led to a sudden urge to know geography. It’s how most of us learned things 😭

@@ArionCepheus It's not ironic. Saying the education system failed him and also knowing so much, is in fact, a proof that you need to spend a lot of time studying at home, doing the things your school and teachers should have.

I thought so too. Wouldn’t have been a better comparison to give them a map of America (north and south) and see them naming every country? Otherwise they could have asked Team US to name all states/provinces in Germany, Spain, France or whatever
@@lemasander4932 to be fair the us is only 1 million square KM less than Europe in size so it is a fair comparison
@@GnWVaporing that may be true, but in school it’s common to learn other countries name and location, not their states within the country… so it’s not expected common knowledge to know all the US states in other countries. Or do you know all the provinces of brazil by name and location? The size doesn’t matter as much as the kind of thing you compare. Country vs state is like comparing apples and oranges. Same size more or less, but nothing alike
@@GnWVaporingthat is a stupid reason. Russia is much bigger than both the USA and europe, can you name all the russian oblasts? The US and like, liechtenstein, are equal entities on a map. A world map of countries will not show US states on it
As a german who memorized every country (and every state) for fun, i nearly cried while watching this
Yeah.. I don’t know too many states as a Briton, but as someone who absolutely loves to study maps of countries and their history, this hurt a bit lol.
