APC's party leadership is different. Buhari was the president and Tinubu was the leader of the party in Nigeria. Tinubu has been the leader of the party in Lagos even with Fashola, Ambode and Sanwolu. Akume is the leader of the party in Benue State. Till he dies!

This is funny, Benue State is riding high with the good works of our dear governor Fr. Alia. The problem in Benue State is the refusal of Alia to share state resources to party Stakeholders, that's the problem in Benue politics today.

When you see politicians fighting, it's about money and selfish interests never about anything that will benefit the poor masses. Akume and his Abuja team should get federal help to fight insecurity and senseless killing of Benue state farmers rather than be causing unnecessary problems.
Tell your St Alia that if he sidlined all the stakeholders that made him win because of their loyalty to Akume, he should focus on developing Benue and take his hands off hijacking the party structure from Akume. He can have it all.

The roads that suswan constructed in his first tenure are extremely substandard roads compared to Fr Alia's roads, Alia's gutters and culverts are solidly made of concrete and not blocks(nobody needs to make culverts as the contractors make all the culverts), Fr Alia's administrative framework is legendary/world class, it is very wrong to equate Fr Alia's administrative style to that of suswan or ortom.
I've been active in Benue politics since 2007. I have seen the take off of Suswam and Ortom. They are better than Alia's take off. It is after 4years of his tenure that I can assess his consistent payment of salary. So far, he has not done anything new yet that Suswam and Ortom didn't do in their first year. Don't allow Ortom's abysmal failure to shelter your objectivity.

Governor Hyacinth Alia is up date in salary payment, Up date in pensions,. Governor Suswan has the same problem with Akume during his tenure as a governor, Samuel Ortom has same problem and today is Hyacinth Alia, Governor Hyacinth Alia should be left alone to focus.

The real stakeholders in Benue are the Benue Masses. Benue state is bigger than anyone. Terrance kuanum worked against the APC now he is the aid to Akume. He was with Ortom.
Oga, the Benue masses don't get involved in party administration and the associated risks in mobilizing votes and protecting votes. These stakeholders sold their properties, invested huge money, time, energy and even strategies to help Alia win. He cannot abandon all of them. A laborer is worthy of his wages.

Alia is more interested in power than governance. He boasts about payment of salaries and pensions. The question to ask is, who is not paying salaries and pensions since the beginning of the Tinubu administration? If you ask Alia the SGF's offence since he became governor, I bet you, he wouldn't be able to say anything that the SGF has done to him directly. There are people around Alia that have been aggrieved over the years with the SGF, over their inability to either get his support for election when they thought they stood the best chance or his preference for other candidates which is normal for a human being to prefer one thing to another. These people are using Alia, who is a political neophyte, to fight AKUME. They have boasted about it. Some of them have vowed to erase the name of AKUME from Benue state in the next 8years. How that is possible is what we await to see. Alia got the party's ticket in the most dishonourable way and singlehandedly made possible by AKUME, who insisted the choice of the governorship candidate must be determined by the masses. He accepted the choice of the masses but of course realized the choice wouldn't emerge through indirect primaries because of other candidates involved, who were more competent, experienced and more wealthy. He accepted Alia and gave the most support to ensure the illegal direct primaries that was conducted stood every legal resistance. Alia is not being sincere, and of course the forces around him that are making sure he loses focus on governance are overwhelming. He is more interested in 2027 than now.
