I used to hate taking care of our pool in the 70’s. Seems as though things work much better than the old days though. Followin’ my boy for da pool work.
@arechi320 it depends in your region as well as personal preference.. I have a vinyl lined in ground Saltwater pool (and 99% of pools here are vinyl lined) we have harsh winters here in the Northeastern US & concrete and plaster tends to crack and isn't as common. Vinyl is all about how you take care of it. I use a solid cover every winter and when I open my pool it's a clear and clean as the day I closed it. My liner is 11 years old and looks almost new. I've never seen an actual pool like the ones he does. People here almost always close them with covers though-
@@say_what_again Thanks for explaining this, I had considered that it would be cheaper, but not that it could be because of region. Always interesting to learn stuff like this. 🙂
I get why people would want a liner pool. Some like the softer feel of it esp. I just don’t get why anybody would choose the “cheap intex pool liner” for a pool you spent that much on.
That's a great job - thanks for sharing! Why didn't you choose to pressure wash the pool before re-lining it? Wouldn't it be as quick and better than the hand brushing method you used here?
Can (or do) you guys clean the rim of the pool? The pools be looking great but then the edges around the pools look very dirty or blackened. I know it's extra labor to scrub that area but it would look 1000x better. 💙
That isn't the pool guy's job, and in the U.S. a lot of them don't carry the insurance to cover it. If you pressure wash a tile off doing something you aren't insured to do then that's a bad day.
On the pump there's often a clip that you can put the float in to make it turn on at lower levels. Saves you wacking it! Also if you tie a rope to it and walk it in from each side you can get it position well first time. Looks a minging job made good!
Would love it / love to know if client got told most appropriate time to jet wash if wished so didn’t mess up new tidy pool and trim trees back at point y etc
Any idea what kind of prices you'd be looking at for getting and old liner pool properly tiled? Would it be worth it or just suck up that you bought a house with a liner pool?
Hi,firstly I want to say, you've got a interesting channel going. You're doing an amazing job. I've got a real big problem with our pool.It looked like it was leaking so we kept filling it up,but now our pool has been out of order for a few months and we struggling to clean it again. The backwash pump seems to be broken as well, because it's not backwashing or anything. What can I do to fix it?Please help...
The pools look great, but I am curious as to why you do not jet wash the brick work/concrete/patio around the immediate area whilst you're cleaning the pool out. It would just give it a more 'finished' look - otherwise a great job! :)
Watching the first half of the video reminds me of something. Have you guys ever accidentally fall into the pool before cleaning? Probably gonna get nightmares for years isnt it
@@gillyrambowife8641 Costs. A liner is less expensive as opposed to tiles. Of course using tiles will last longer and repairs are easier. You can repair and replace areas that need it. Whereas with a liner, holes that are minor can be patched up… but something bigger would most likely require the whole liner to be replaced. So, pool owners have to see which fits their budget.
When my parents moved in to my house, the pool was as green as any leaf in spring, it’s clear 98% of the time now because we got a pool vacuum installed
The addiction to this channel is real - help
I don't think us other addicts can assist you 🤔

Thank you

Great job. Looks really good. Would have loved to see the surroundings power washed too.
Agreed, would have been the first thing for the customer to do.
Can't believe no one washed the surround before the new liner went in absolute Muppetry lol

A unique job for hard working men! You always achieve beautiful results. 🤩🤩🤩
I don't understand why anyone would want an in ground pool with liner. Just use grout and tile. It looks 1,000 times better and lasts way longer.
Cheaper to install is the only reason

My pool was built with these tiny rocks all stuck together, idk how to describe it any other way
Really enjoyed that dudes shoveling
I’ve never seen the most dedication put into a pool, these pools are pure junk until you show up!! You are a legit pool savior, good job!

U guys did an awesome job with that pool

It’s up to the customer mate, not them.
Also maybe the liner wasn’t available right away and they were happy for it take longer. Lots of reasons. Maybe they don’t want the noise. ;)
Fantastic work chaps
That guy you have working with ya is a work horse bro.
Wow great job. Turned out great ✌🏻💗😊❣️
i wonder how many of these pool owners say they "just moved in" to cover their shame of the state of the pool 😂
Looks beautiful 😍😍
Wow looks incredible
Never understand why you would not get the jetwashers in with the sodium hypochlorite on the slabs and coping stones? Is it timing or just bad luck?
Me neither
Or customer didn't want to pay for acid washing.

Yeah, it’s a shame they do all this hard work to make the pool pretty and useable, yet the pool deck is still disgusting.
These owners are tight. Clean up yer gardens 😂😂😂

13:41 when the vac sucks the liner against the pool. So satisfying.
Mint job fellas 👍🏻👊🏼👊🏼

Nice job
A great video❤,nice job, loved it❤❤
Watching how clean you can get the pool is so satisfying. How or where do you dispose of all the muck you have scooped and or sucked out?
I guess it just goes the compost heap/flower beds or whatever. It’s not exactly high grade waste.
Holla ya boy for the swamp work

How much does a job like that cost?
How often does the liner need replacing?
Fascinating watching it go from a dirt heap to a clean pool!

Any idea what kind of prices you'd be looking at for getting and old liner pool properly tiled? Would it be worth it or just suck up that you bought a house with a liner pool?
In a lot of cases liner pools are only built for liners and won’t have the structural support to be tiled!
Fabulous job. The rendering coming off the walls, didn’t it need replacing?

Wouldent tiles be better then liner when it comes to pools cleaning and upkeep vice?

Silly question, but I have to ask, if the owner opts to put in tiles rather than a liner, how long will the tiles last before needing to be replaced?
I too wondered why lies weren’t used rather than a liner.
What’s the reason why people use liners instead?

First times I've seen pool liners is this channel. Maybe not in USA?
Why not plaster and tile? No liner?
You have probably already covered this in other videos, but why not pressure wash the surrounding concrete etc? Just to complete the transformation
Lezz goo ne pool work

Should have power washed the surrounding walkway and fence before putting the liner in.
