Apparently Shu went off on the management behind the scenes for how they're handling things. Millie was talking about it and she said he was just going off in Japanese and that it sounded hot lol.
Wait what happened?
27:29 This whole bit of millie giving religious advice is sarcastic because the point of the segment is to give the most useless advice as humanly possible. Sometimes she does it seriously but sometimes she just fucks around LOL
Ph is mostly Catholic so its normal, even to those non believers, to get advice like that. cuz sometimes giving advice without without adding religion is hard XD and they understand that they would just get the idea/meaning what the advice is being meant. I barely met non-religious people in PH, I only met one and was a former catholic.
XD yeah as a filipino. Dont take whatever is translated in english too seriously~ 😂😂 its normal for us to cuss and sht as a joke between filipinos xD
the orange-haired girl millie was with in mortuary assistant game was kaheru, an indie vtuber from the philippines. her name kaheru (ka-he-ru) is how you'll pronounce it in japanese. so in filipino/tagalog, kaheru is pronounced kahel which is the tagalog term for orange (color). hence her main color, orange. she's really good at her voice acting impressions and stuff.
2:18 Nope, high blood pressure to us Filipinos in this context means that you are so pissed that it feels like your blood pressure is rising. We even jokingly calm down/tease someone by saying "Hey, watch your blood pressure!" when they rage like this 😂
17:29 Nah, shota and jowa are both tagalog slangs for boyfriend/girlfriend (interchangeably). Shotakels is gay lingo made to make the word a bit more extra, a lot of younger people in the Philippines adapt/mimic gay lingo into our speach patterns because it's funny 😂 (before anyone gets triggered, not it's not meant to make fun of gay people, we don't take things like that too seriously unlike western people)
23:32 Nope! Definitely *NOT* a cult 👀
If you ever want to do one for Ike or Shu, Koppi has a ton of clip compilations for them both.
"Let's hope Millie find someone in 2024" HAHAHHA BRO
The whole Kaeru and Millie clips are 90% cursing and 10%horror
syota-kels (read as shota-kels) is some form of slang in PH. It's not really part of the language itself, but some people have a habit of adding "kels" or "bels" at the end of some words to give a light feeling to statements (someone can correct me if im wrong, but I think this way of speaking originated from gay lingo). Syota is a very informal way of labeling a romantic partner (applicable to both men and women). Same with jowa. People normally use the term boyfriend and and girlfriend frequently also.
