Asking someone to stop filming is meaningless. Like i tell cops here..you ask me to stop and i will make every shot about you, your badge number and your vehicle..you will get.more of me. Yes verbally asking anything is a right but dont think someone has to listen to that request.
This is a completely rational and reasonable way for somebody to react. People forget that these are actual human beings with feelings and they can get uncomfortable too and have bad days. Once you meet enough famous people and the star struck wears off you realize it's best to just treat them the same way you would a friend.
You have no privacy when in public. If we can film the Police, we can film this jackass too! The Law is the Law.

In this example the video camera operator continued to video tape Mr. Perlman beyond the point at which he should have stopped. We do not know how long Mr. Perlman was being video recorded, before, the start-point of this video clip. At issue, is real respect and consideration for another person and for that person’s privacy. It is a matter of human sensitivity to know when one has gotten to the point when one should stop. To be able to sense moments when one should stop has a great value in our ability to live, together, with each other.
Anyone can go online and watch a pirated copy of his films. So this guy, standing 50 feet away from him, filming peacefully, is not doing anything to warrant such a response. If he never knew he was being filmed, he would not have cared. And if Tony wanted to, he could file a public records request and gather all the footage he wanted of Ron walking around the airport from the CCTV. Filming is a right bestowed upon us by the highest court of the land.
