Mike never gets it wrong. Just saw the notification on my phone and as soon as I clicked on it, I was transported to that place that only Passenger fans know too well. The smooth stroke of that guitar and that raspy voice is truly a work of art. Keep at it.

This song got through one of my worst moments. I'd just gotten off a shift. My mum had just found and sent a recording of me and my brother singing together. I'd been gone from from home about 10 months then, literally across the planet from the last person to give me a hug and I just broke down. Barely made it out he cafeteria and out of the building. Had a good cry by the bike stand and left just before the next shift ended 15 minutes later. I didn't want to ride the bus so I decided to bike my way home. Started playing songs because, of course I did and this song shuffled on. And it was the only reason I stopped sobbing. It promised me nothing. "You can sing along if you want to" and I did. I was offkey, almost screaming the whole time but I did. I replayed it again and again and I got it out of my system. It was one of the darkest days of 2020 and I barely felt it because of this simple song. I've come back to type this 5 months after said morning. This may as well be me screaming into the void but Mike, if you're reading this, I'm grateful for all that your music has helped me deal with. I'm so glad I clicked on your channel after Let Her Go.
