Hello Steve, I had a set of the vacuum assisted carbs on a CB250 Honda about 1970, terrible carbs. The diaframs would sometimes not rise and sometimes stick open. I had a set of 25mm Mikunis off of a DS6 Yamaha that I was going to fit, but got rid of the bike and bought a 250 Ducati, much better. The bike shop I worked in, sold one of the first CB750 Hondas and after a few months, the owner returned it, saying it was missing in traffic. We replaced the plugs with one grade hotter and that fixed the problem. They were selected to allow max performance of the engine, which this bike never got. I later had the same problem with a Peugeot 206 GTI 180 and put the next grade hotter plugs in. Driving through city traffic at a couple of thousand revs was killing it when its max HP was developed at 7000.

Hi Steve, I have been watching you live!!, lots of times I saw bench synching carbs different methods, but is the first time I see this one with bearing balls, must be an “Aussie thing”🤣🤣, good to see you mate, take care!!
Hi ya Carlos I really cant take credit for that method mate. I saw a German guy do the sync that way and I thought that would be quite accurate So I did a English version Thanks for watching take care mate P.S. 3 Aussie states including SA are in lockdown
