@@deathtowaterbottles8207 it's is pre Gap. From the scraps of lore from Starfinder it implied that Golarion was a space fairing civilization before the gap started
@@zezia333 There is no pre-gap in starfinder. The Gap encompasses the entire history of the planet of Golarian and any facts about it. Starfinder timeline knows vanishingly little about Golarion other than it was there and its gone now. It was a storytelling element devised by Paizo so that they didn't have to take into account any canonical endings to any campaign outside of Iron Gods.
Don't let the other "good" endings deceive you, this is the only true ending that has the potential to end the Demonic threat. Killing a demon doesn't actually cause one less demon to exist, they're just recycled into a different demon, potentially more or less dangerous. The only true way to kill a demon is to help it find redemption. In fact, Ember is probably the single most impactful character in the game, even moreso than the PC throughout the Game's course. Ember has caused the single greatest harrowing of fuel to the Abyss by redeeming them and giving them a god to pay homage to and protect them, and only in this ending do more demons seek the path to redemption, depriving and BenQ yes of fuel and converting it into fuel for more benevolent souls. The only ending that even comes close is Aeon, but really all the Aeon ending does is stall the Abyss until they find another fool to open a portal, potentially dealing more damage on a more densely populated Golarion in the future.
And the amount of redeemed demons is... Lesser than the fingers on one hand... Canonically Nocticula becomes a deity either way with or without Ember influence. well, they would remember since these events take place pre-Gap so it would remember. It's only events during the Gap that were forgotten.

Impressive how you managed to obtain the worst possible ending slides (as in alignment) while being a gold dragon.

There's nothing stopping the Aeons from changing that possible event too.
Theres another way to destroy demons. Kill them with mass produced midnight bolts. No need for any redemption nonsense.
