I really dig these shaving videos you make Tony. Simple, but informative and thorough. I agree with you on the simple products. When a product is expertly designed and performs it’s intended purpose, it doesn’t need lots of fluff or have to cost a lot. Thanks for taking the time to show us not only this product, but a link to other products you’ve reviewed. If it’s used by Tony, it’s been tested and it’s good enough for me. Hell, I even feel a little manlier after watching this vid. Thanks Tony!

Ordered the trail pack. I love my Phillips Oneblade, but sometimes I want a closer shave that that gives me even when I use shaving cream with it. Never used a cartridge razor before so I'll see how I get on, my father always used an electric razor so he never taught me!

@@averageguytested picked up a Mach3 turbo 3D in store today, it was on sale and not like I can spend my money on other things at the moment. Still waiting for my Harry's package to arrive. Had a shave with the Mach3 and considering it was the first time I'd used a cartridge razor it was a nice shave, just 1 pass with the grain to start off with.

Tony, the foam mousse is pretty smooth. I agree, it works well with the Harry's razor, especially for rinsing. Super easy. No clogging at all with the mousse as it rinses clean.
As you said, Harry's has a pretty solid product. You just can't go wrong with something that works well. Especially a classic like Gillette Foamy. It's still on store shelves for a reason.

I find with my own neck hairs, Tony, that I have to shave down on my neck to get an irritation free and razor burn free shave on my neck.
Shaving my neck upwards really causes me lot of irritation and razor burn.
I shave my neck straight down, straight down at a slight angle on both sides of my neck, then I shave across the grain really works best for me.

Different experience from Gillette for sure . I dont have much hair on my face because I'm only 18 but I have been using a Gillette mach 3 . Just got a Harry's razor because the price of cartridges, initially I didnt like it as much. I nicked myself in two places . Not bad at all . But it's been probably 20+ shaved with the mach 3 and no nicks. But afterwards I usually experience razor bumps on my neck where I have the most hair . Now , after shaving with the Harry's I felt like my face was burning more than the mach 3 , but after that I had less irritation than with the Harry's razor . Overall good experience. And the trimmer on the end of the razor is a bonus that the mach 3 didnt have . Good review

I was a subscriber to harrys for about 2 months. The first pack was amazing. The blades were so sharp, I loved them. Second pack felt like I was shaving with the lid from a can of beans. I made about 2 passes, and ended up trying each blade in the pack and they were all like that. I threw them in the garbage and cancelled. Went back to Mach 3.

At the time I made my way to a few forums which several people complained of the same thing. Several were asking if they changed factories or materials. I also didn’t like how the blade cartridge didn’t really “lock” on. Anytime I dropped it or knocked it off the sink the cartridge would go flying. I guess maybe I shouldn’t have dropped it. Lol

I wanted to like this razor but it just didn't work on my skin. Way to harsh. Most razor burn and irritation I've had from a cartridge razor. The problem with cartridge razors is that they provide one kind of blades and they want to sell it to everyone. Not everyone has the same skin. With safety razors you can experiment with different blades and see what works for your skin and beard. With these, let's say they use Feather type of blades in their razors, well, not every skin responds well to Feather blades.

I thought I might be missing something, but after 30 minutes of trying to find a trimmer and the other blades -- they have a terrible way of packaging and/or listing what you get. You're in the store you can't open the box so they just lie to you. I won't be buying anymore from this company. And even if I'm wrong and there is a trimmer and more blades somewhere why would I buy from this company that's so stupid. Waste my time with this wild goose chase! Elegant packaging give me a break... no instructions. A new company should not be acting like this, so annoying.
