Dark folk-pop storyteller Aurora shared her debut record All My Demons Greeting Me as a Friend last year, and AMBY had the pleasure of discussing the album with her when she last performed in Toronto. @@prda7 it's OK to feel sad...I believe Aurora would promote embracing the sadness (sorrow) and not putting it on the farthest place on your shelf...
Aurora is very intuitive and sensitive to her surroundings and able to come up with concepts that are very accurate that are not normally thought of. The canvas concept where we are all our own painting which we are free to paint ourselves any way we want but also effected by our surroundings is brilliant.

Aurora is such a talented songwriter and performer, and such an enchanting adorable person, that i think two qualities that get a little overlooked are i) she's very psychologically and philosophically insightful - she says very wise things about how it is to be a human in this world, and ii) she's very witty - not just funny because she's quirky, but funny because she's got intelligent wit.
She's an incredible human being! No wonder her fans adore her!
I've only watched a few interviews but this interviewer is so beautiful and sweet lol she's always smiling so big at everyone and seems genuinely interested in them. Really good at her job

i started with this because i love watching her eat random stuff and be weird, cute and intriguing at the same time and heyyy, it's genuinely aurora! because I've spoken to her too, in person and she has this presence where you feel connected and as one? I've never felt that with any other artist. maybe because she's more human and magical than any other artist?? lmao

I always liked your rapport with musicians. You just seem like the sort of person you instantly like and feel ok to be yourself around.
I have very recently discovered AURORA via AMBY, and I'm really taken in by her lyrics and her beautiful voice. I am so happy to join all the Warriors and Weirdos around the world :)

Yeah, I just randomly chose to look at the AMBY website one day early in January, and in the section you have on the right-hand side was a picture of AURORA linked to an article, and I was just "drawn" to it, so to speak...and, I'm thinking, "Aurora...Aurora, doesn't seem familiar...but I feel like she's someone I should know about" (I don't listen to the radio or watch TV that much).
So, I came to UA-cam to find something, and I listened to "Runaway" first, and I was just captivated...I found it so beautiful. Its weird, it's like I've found some magical new drug which has only positive effects...every day I listen to a few songs repeatedly, they're so "moreish"...one listen is never enough.
I think the last time I felt this way about a music artists' work was when I first discovered the magical Kate Bush, and in a way, AURORA reminds me of her....someone who appears through her songwriting and the way she talks, to have been around a lot longer than she has.

'Cause of her massive South Asian/Australian tour in the past 6 moths, there are no dates in my country that I'm aware of this year... Oh, there might be one I think, but I fancy going away...so, what better to go and see AURORA on home turf, so to speak?
I've got tickets for Bergenfest in June. Yay! Being in the UK, just across the North Sea isn't so far away.

Her name is AURORA and is so talented her music makes me belive that humanity can change if we would together as one and not a alone stand up for your self and be yourself. She seems calm. Because she is not afraid of being herself. But she is not necessarily calm always. I recognice she stutters here. That may be a symptom of her being a little bit stressede.
