Fun fact: they didn’t used to give Felix very long parts because his Korean wasn’t that good in the beginning, since he grew up in Australia and speaks English as his first language. Now his Korean is much better and they’ve started to give him more/longer parts. He raps a verse in English in Muddy Water, or in their Kingdom: Legendary War live performance of God’s Du-Du-Du he both speaks at the beginning and has his own rap verse, which I had to show to my brother to prove that he wasn’t dubbed.
I think he thought Felix was dubbed because Felix looks like a baby angel, so you don’t expect it when he opens his mouth and sounds like a large, colored, Australian, Bouncer. 😂

Stray Kids is definitely their own unique style, but fact is "K-pop" has a lot of different genres in it so that one can't limit it to just "pop", also since most k-pop groups consist of rappers and singers (but then there are ones who are singing heavy, others are rap heavy like stray kids). They produced an album called Noisey, because people were saying their music was "Noise Music". Kpop is kinda just a general umbrella, huddled within is rap, rock, metal. Most Korean music marketed towards a western audience is labeled Kpop or Trot (more traditional, older gen stuff).
Before you read what I wrote: I hope anything is understandable, since english isn't my first language. Also sorry, if some of my words may come of as rude - I don't mean it that way. I just want to educate you more about SKZ. :) Since you already know that they produce their own music I want to tell you something, because you keep mentioning that the guy with the deep voice (his name is Felix btw) has to get more lines: The members are like a huge family and they really love each other. When certain member have less lines in certain songs than other members it usually means that the member with the less lines decided that along with 3Racha (the producer of the group). This can have a lot of reasons. For Felix those reasons might be: 1. he isn't comfortable singing (he gained more confidence for that in the last few month though and we love it, because he has a really pretty singing voice) 2. his lack of knowledge for the korean language (when he became a trainee he didn't know korean that well, so he had to learn it a lot. In the earlier songs he has less lines because of this reason. However he is now pretty much fluent, so it doesn't really matter in newer songs) 3. he is part of the dance line, which means that he often gets center positions in performances and has a lot of acrobatic stunts in their choreographie. Every member deserves a chance to shine, so those who aren't as often in the center will get more lines. 4. The lines he get are often impactful, because of his deep ass voice. So he gets the lines which will get stuck in your head forever. Sometimes the members decide that they don't want to get a lot of lines in a certain song, because they think that their voice doesn't suit that song as much (for example: Lee Know was barerly visible and hearable in Gods Menu, because of this reason). What I want to say is: SKZ has one of the most fair lines destribution in KPop and if some songs lack a certain member, 3Racha makes up for it in another song. They talk about it and decide it together and there is no ill intention behind giving some members less lines. :) At the end some song-recommandations: - Side Effects - Any - All In - Back Door - Charmer - Miroh Also some background information about KPop: KPop isn't really a genre, it is more about the system with the companies and the idols. So a company hires trainees and train them. Those trainees hope to debut (come out as artists so to speak). The companies form certain groups which will debut (for example Stray Kids) and then they promote them and give them a place to stay etc. SKZ was formed a little bit different - while usually the company decides which trainees get into one group together SKZ (Stray Kids) was formed by their leader BangChan (the guy with the chain in the face). He chose all members, which then had to participate in a survival show. In the survival show two members (Lee Know and Felix) got eliminated, but JYP (the head of SKZ's company) ultimatly decided to bring them back because he saw that SKZ was stronger with them. If you want to know more about our boys, here is a in depth and long introduction video. It is really good, up to date and has a lot of information. I highly recommend watching it. "maybe they created their own genre" wait till you find out they did hahahhaha. They created their own genre called mala taste!!!!! BTW, love your reactions keep up the good work
The story of how God's Menu created is even crazier. It only proves they are all geniuses. Felix usually given short but the most impactful part (killing part) so even if he only get a few seconds, he always capture attention. But if you wanna hear him rap the whole verse, Muddy Water is definitely must listen. It's new song from their latest album Oddinary. It's a rap unit song where they do a genre (boom bap) just because they want to and they can. (The perk of self-producing) Rap enjoyer will definitely love the song. You are right, they do makr their own genre, or rather, God's Menu is labeled as new genre "Mala taste" sort of like "Super spicy taste" because Mala is spicy Welcome is eoseo oshipshio in Korean, but if they put different meaning like Sh1t show like you said, I wouldn't be surprize. 3Racha is known for their love of word play. There's this Korean youtuber trying to explain Han's solo song I Got It lyrics and he goes like 3-4 or more different meaning from a single word! 49 minutes video just for 4 minutes song! Freeze definitely made in thought of God's Menu. Bang Chan said in an interview Always love your reaction. Please fall deeper to Stray Kids rabbit hole. We are waiting for you at the bottom 😁
They love creating music for different genres. You might want to check out their "older" MVs featuring Side Effects, Easy, All In, Slump and TOP. These are real gems! For collaborations, they did Going Dumb and Just Breathe.
If you want more of Felix, I'd suggest Muddy Water (it's an old school style hip-hop rap song by 4 of the members), God's Du-Du-Du Kingdom Performance (a mashup of God's Menu and a Blackpink song, Felix has an iconic rap verse in English here), Victory Song, Side Effects, and Maze of Memories.
Just because I don't see anyone else saying it, Felix has his own song (Deep End) but it's sung in all english, but it's a great song, makes me cry every time
As far as I’ve heard from Stray Kids it does mean welcome but as with all their songs they love wordplay and I think they chose that opening for that reason. Also I love you said eff all the noise. That’s definitely come up in other songs like Thunderous and Cheese because their critics (like the magpies and crows in this song) have called their sound “noisy” so in answer they named an album “No Easy” which if you say it fast sounds like Noisy. They’re like “people think we’re noisy? Let’s get louder and more chaotic!” I love that!
Felix (the one with deep voice) part mostly is short but very remarkable, they give the parts that will highlight is amazing deep voice so it will give the "Wow" factor to the song. So I think for this particular song and some others, they are doing it on purpose, so the audience would want want more if you just give them a free taste hehhe coz if you keep exposing Felix's voice then you won't be that surprise anymore. That's just what I think.
Great reaction! The one with the deep voice is named Felix! Once you listen to Stray Kids you're hooked. They bring to kpop an amazing energy and talent that's undeniably AMAZING! If, you're not familiar with all of their names, they have a video I would recommend called FAM, which you will enjoy!😊👍👏👏
Check out Muddy Water, in the track, Felix (the guy with the deep voice) opens the song with FIRE old-school rap in English. Btw, he and Bang Chan, the leader, are from Australia.
While Stray Kids has cultivated their own genre, mala taste as everyone has said before, they are still kpop, and kpop is more than a genre of music or simply Korean pop music, it's more like a community, and Stray Kids have said multiple times how proud they are to be kpop artists and how much respect they have for their seniors in the same field, so I think it is important that stays don't forget about it. I didn't want to let this pass because, while I'm super proud of them being recognized as producers, singers and artists in general, I don't want to support the narrative of someone being above kpop, when there's nothing wrong with being a kpop group...that's just justifying the recognition of the western industry while ignoring the importance of others.
As others have said, he's actually saying, "eoseo oshipshio" (어서 오십시오), the second part of which _does_ sound a lot like "sh1t show." This phrase is basically the formal form of "welcome" -- clerks, hostesses, etc will say it (or the polite but not formal version) to customers when they come in. So Changbin is basically saying "Welcome to our restaurant." The kpop industry is conservative (as is Korean), and there's a lot of people always lurking in the wings to try to find _anything_ to harm SKZ. And absurd as it sounds, feeding "They're using shocking language and corrupting the innocent youth!" to a conservative, reactive media and even more so to a histrionic social media universe, is not only something antis would try to do, but already something they _have_ tried. SKZ can't directly cuss in their songs (or get caught doing it on camera...cough.Felix.cough). They do find sneaky workarounds occasionally, as their bilingualism and skill with wordplay is in their favor. That said, the word for "shh" in Korean sounds really close to "sh1t": 쉿. Said properly, it's kind of halfway between "swit" and "shwit." Said by an Australian who's in the conservative kpop industry but wants to rap "sh1t" on international broadcast, it's a great way to get away with it and then use your "I'm a foreigner. I have an accent" CYA card.
All STRAY KIDS songs are FIREEEEEEEEEE, 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥must check out their DISTRICT 9 mv, EASY mv, DOUBLE KNOT mv, DOMINO unveil track video... Hard RAPS and DOPE TOO.
If you want to hear Felix’s voice at a VERY DEEP level you might want to check out Victory Song. When felix starts the song his voice is so deep it almost is like bass
Stray Kids definitely have their own unique style, but in fact they are "kpop" , because K-pop is not a music genre but a music industry, just like the western music industry...it has all genres-hip-hop, RnB, Jazz, Ballets, pop, trap, EDM, etc. The only difference is that K-pop delivers music not only sonically, but visually as well, with amazing, polished choreographies....the other difference is the fact that it's sang in Korean, but at the end of the day, it's still music. I hope you check out more K-pop groups/artists. It's a whole experience and you won't regret it.
Wow. I am trying to watch the video but I keep forgetting to listen and vice versa. The beat is great but the different background sounds are awesome adds another layer. Impressed you have not injured yourself. Btw IMirror…on the wall repeats in my brain 🧠.

K-pop is not a genre in music, it is the name of the industry. Suga of BTS said it quite well in the excellent Grammy Museum interview (Sept. 11 2018). In the interview, the usually quiet introvert (whose only life is music), could not shut up, because for once they had interviewer who knew about music and asked intelligent questions about it. That interview is pure gold, you should react to it after you have heard few of their (non-English)songs. : "As Goldman asked if K-Pop was an accurate description, Suga stressed that it transcends their music - he instead believes that it’s a reflection of the entire culture that has encircled the group. “I’m a little careful to talk about K-pop as a genre because I don’t want to be defining Kpop as a genre”, he told Goldman. “I’m a little bit wary of that but I think rather than approach Kpop as a genre, a better approach would be ‘integrated content.'” He added: “‘K-pop includes not just the music, but the clothes, the makeup, the choreography… All these elements I think sort of amalgamate together in a visual and auditory content package, that I think sets it apart from other music or maybe other genres so again, as I said, rather than approach K-pop as it’s own genre I think approaching it as this integration of different content would be better.” you might know Suga (my BTS bias = "favorite of BTS") as AgustD (my ultimate bias ="favorite of all K-music").

And don't worry: if you want to do a reaction about it, us Stays don't mind a long video about our boys. :)
But spoiler ahead: there are a lot of cutouts of songs or performances you haven't reacted to.

I like the way you always catch the right idea of their tracks!! thanks for your reactions i really enjoy watching them
straykids genre evolution 40+ genres in just 4 years.
please react to christmas evel! and you can hear more of felix (the guy with the deep voice) in their music muddy water (from the same album of maniac, venom and freeze) , it’s really amazing. nice reaction🤲🏻
You should definitely react to their performances from kingdom!! Especially gods Dudu (blackpinks-dududu and gods menu mash up) it’s definitely one of my favorite performances !!
I love coming back to these videos and watch Teddy fall in love with the Kids❤❤❤
Always come back to this one 🫡🔥
They are the best they write and produce their own song 99%.
1. God's Menu 2. Maniac 3. Thunderous 4. Back door
If you really want to hear how deep Felix’s voice can go, please react to “Victory Song”🤯🤯
"maybe they created their own genre" wait till you find out they did hahahhaha. They created their own genre called mala taste!!!!! BTW, love your reactions keep up the good work
The song that got me into Stray Kids
It's not just a video, it's like watching a cool, high-quality movie. Song - Fire, Bomb, Stray Kids bravo
By far one of my favorite God’s menu reactions! They ARE their own thing, thank Goodness for us! 😁💗💗💗
You are right, they do makr their own genre, or rather, God's Menu is labeled as new genre "Mala taste" sort of like "Super spicy taste" because Mala is spicy
Welcome is eoseo oshipshio in Korean, but if they put different meaning like Sh1t show like you said, I wouldn't be surprize.
Bang Chan said in an interview
Always love your reaction. Please fall deeper to Stray Kids rabbit hole. We are waiting for you at the bottom 😁
They love creating music for different genres. You might want to check out their "older" MVs featuring Side Effects, Easy, All In, Slump and TOP. These are real gems! For collaborations, they did Going Dumb and Just Breathe.
they are the best new group/ strong vocal, strong dancing
If you want more of Felix, I'd suggest Muddy Water (it's an old school style hip-hop rap song by 4 of the members), God's Du-Du-Du Kingdom Performance (a mashup of God's Menu and a Blackpink song, Felix has an iconic rap verse in English here), Victory Song, Side Effects, and Maze of Memories.
I love your reaction!
The opening rap in Muddy Waters is Felix and it is Fabulous!! No video though. You can listen to the audio off the Ordinary album.
Just because I don't see anyone else saying it, Felix has his own song (Deep End) but it's sung in all english, but it's a great song, makes me cry every time
My reaction to that song went viral on TikTok lol
In 2020 I was 29 yo when I randomly discovered Stray Kids with the Back Door song and Lord there is no turning back. I fell into a tornado lol
My favorite Stray kids song🔥
Thank you this is my favourite and my first jump into stray kids a year or so ago , went down the rabbit hole and now a very happy STAY
"They just know how to bring the hype to a track"
You're telling facccctsssss
If you want to see the guy with the deep voice shine, watch God's Du Du Du Du, you would really like it
3rd eye is a really good one to hear Felix, there’s also Maze of Memories, All In and Easy, that are pretty Felix heavy and Rap line heavy.
Everyone instantly falls in love with Felix’s voice 😂 I love his part in their performance of I’ll Be Your Man cover in Kingdom: Legendary War!
STRAY KIDS WORLD DOMINATION. LOVE THIS SONG
For the low voice guy (felix) i would recommend you to “God’s dududu” (its a live performance) you will hear him rap longer in english !
Loving this Stray Kids journey! So much more! Dive in, it’s all fire! And it’s called “mala” it’s not pop. It’s Stray Kids. ❤️🙏😇
Side effects this song you’ll absolutely love it !!!!
SKZ have the best video transitions in the game PERIOD!
So Changbin is basically saying "Welcome to our restaurant."
The kpop industry is conservative (as is Korean), and there's a lot of people always lurking in the wings to try to find _anything_ to harm SKZ.
In their new album, “Muddy Water” is a good song where Felix shines through 🙏🏻
Muddy water, surfin, and wow are some songs with more Felix centre! (Stray kids have wow and 3racha have wow)
They invented a whole new genre from this song, the genre is called Mala Taste. Officially my new fav genre 🥰
It is awsome, that BanChan (and 3Racha) are writing the songs and producing the all the songs by them selfs.
If you want to hear Felix’s voice at a VERY DEEP level you might want to check out Victory Song. When felix starts the song his voice is so deep it almost is like bass
I LOVE YOUR REACTIONS
I really appreciate your reactions, so genuine!
And now you know what Changbin's welcome meant, God's Menu has something to satisfy every taste.
GM is a masterpiece. It's insanely new
If you want more Felix (deep voice guy), try:
- Muddy Water
- Victory Song
- Maze of Memories
Stray Kids definitely have their own unique style, but in fact they are "kpop" , because K-pop is not a music genre but a music industry, just like the western music industry...it has all genres-hip-hop, RnB, Jazz, Ballets, pop, trap, EDM, etc. The only difference is that K-pop delivers music not only sonically, but visually as well, with amazing, polished choreographies....the other difference is the fact that it's sang in Korean, but at the end of the day, it's still music. I hope you check out more K-pop groups/artists. It's a whole experience and you won't regret it.
Felix is the member who takes the killing parts. which in Kpop they are the part you will remember
Wow. I am trying to watch the video but I keep forgetting to listen and vice versa. The beat is great but the different background sounds are awesome adds another layer. Impressed you have not injured yourself.
Btw IMirror…on the wall repeats in my brain 🧠.
I know right!? This one is such a delight for the ears😂 I’m honestly surprised too, when that beat dropped I could’ve ran through the wall💀😂
Speaking of walls, I agree, Mirror on the wall has been replaying ever since hahaha
Stray Kids son los mejores 🥰🥰🥰❤❤💙💙💙
K-pop is not a genre in music, it is the name of the industry.
Suga of BTS said it quite well in the excellent Grammy Museum interview (Sept. 11 2018). In the interview, the usually quiet introvert (whose only life is music), could not shut up, because for once they had interviewer who knew about music and asked intelligent questions about it. That interview is pure gold, you should react to it after you have heard few of their (non-English)songs. :
"As Goldman asked if K-Pop was an accurate description, Suga stressed that it transcends their music - he instead believes that it’s a reflection of the entire culture that has encircled the group.
“I’m a little careful to talk about K-pop as a genre because I don’t want to be defining Kpop as a genre”, he told Goldman. “I’m a little bit wary of that but I think rather than approach Kpop as a genre, a better approach would be ‘integrated content.'”
He added: “‘K-pop includes not just the music, but the clothes, the makeup, the choreography… All these elements I think sort of amalgamate together in a visual and auditory content package, that I think sets it apart from other music or maybe other genres so again, as I said, rather than approach K-pop as it’s own genre I think approaching it as this integration of different content would be better.”
you might know Suga (my BTS bias = "favorite of BTS") as AgustD (my ultimate bias ="favorite of all K-music").
This reaction was exactly what it was supposed to be🤣🤣⚡️. And if you drop wow reaction then you have to also watch them react to it and it has to be the one with chan in a white shirt ( I think it was a white shirt🤣🤣)
You should watch one of their live performances, they go all out! I recommend “gods ddu ddu ddu” or their MAMA 2021 performance!
Few of my fave song that Felix’s part is 🔥 is Side Effects, Maze of Memories and Muddy Water 😇
thank you for watching straykids mv i hope you enjoy it..and good luck👍✨
I love them.😍🔥
