What do people in Melbourne do in winter?
1. June. Travel to Thailand/Bali.
2. July. Lock themselves indoors and watch the Tour de France.
3. August. Return to Thailand/Bali.

Why are people associating snow with cold weather just because it snows it doesn't mean its cold. I've experienced days well into the negatives and it doesn't always snow lol

Will probably be a max of about 16 and minimum of 8. But Melbourne can have unpredictable weather 😐
@@rachelandnick Isn't the max around 13-14 degrees I've hardly seen any days that are above 15 degrees?

dandenong ranges, yarra valley
Day 8: melbourne cbd
Day 9: leave melbourne
Itinerary looks good :-) - Depends what interests you have in terms of places to visit but we will continue to show more places around Melbourne so hopefully that will assist you in your travels 🙂
Is is really cold in winter in Melbourne? I will go there in June and on the weather graphs it looked quite okay. Two digit temperatures on most days. The winter is eight to nine degrees warmer than our winter in Germany. I noticed that Melbourne hardly ever sees snow. I have to think very hard what clothes to pack, because luggage limits in economy class are a problem.
When it’s windy it’s really cold. I think a jumper with a light puffer jacket and you’ll be ok ☺️
@@rachelandnick I think I will take my thick winter jacket with me and wear it on the plane to avoid luggage limits. A temperature below 10 degrees already feels quite cold to me. Especially after I was in Bangkok and Tokyo before I go to Melbourne.
@@Andrew-nc2iu It was great. I had a light jacket and a heavy winter jacket with me. One evening I was freezing, because I only had the light jacket. I enjoyed the journey very much though. It took me once around the world with stops in seven cities. In Melbourne I stayed four nights. It started rainy, but there also have been enough sunny days to take all the photos I needed.
