@@stryfetc1471 absolutely man. We have dedicated servers now, have for a while. The vast majority of the time you SHOULD be connecting to the server closest to you, but that is not happening. Go into your settings and show your ping, packet loss and latency. If you do well, your ping will get worse and worse, higher and higher, more and more packet loss. This is because the game will actively connect you to servers on the other side of the planet if they find a better skill match for you. But here's the problem, if you all are of similar skill levels, but your ping is 100ms or worse, and the other players are 30ms, you won't be able to compete even close. You are literally playing behind in time, they see you first, even though on your screen you were pre aiming and saw them first...what really happened was they turned the corner, saw you, shot you, and than your connection caught up, you shot, but by the time all of this data is sent to the server and back, you are already dead. Regardless of how good or bad your internet is, the game decides what your connection is. The most nefarious part is, if you get wrecked a few games, watch how magically you will connect to the server in your state and your ping is half or smaller than what it was in those losses you just took. TL/DR - if you do well, the game will give you worse connections, if you do horrible a few times in a row, you will get the best connection possible...with dedicated servers, that don't move location lol
I played one match in the beta my first match i went 42-10. I was laughing the whole time.bevause I knew the SBMM algorithm hadn't placed me yet. Next game was the sweatiest lobby I've ever played in. Booty slides crouch jumping everywhere. Went 10-25. Like how. I went from enjoying the game to hating my life in 2 matches. And I was laughing the entire time while playing the first match because I knew that's how cod used to feel.

The gameplay is so inconsistent and it gets to a point the game chooses if you live or die. I've been playing COD as long as you have and it's so disappointing what COD has turned into. It's nothing more than a parasite sucking time and money out of players. COD games are so rigged. Players would have better odds winning in Las Vegas.

I think what actually made call of duty so fun was the skill diversity in matches. You use to has the worms camping and you had a rusher in the lobby. A fast swapping riot shielder. A crazy faze quick scope gotta get a clip player. A trap clamore's everywhere player and the sentry that camps the objective. SBMM literally throws how i made alot of my friends back in the day out the window. People were more friendly back then. Now its a literally competition and the game just makes me irritated. I'd rather play NBA 2k at this point and i have played that mess in 3years

I agree. The fact that I get one or two kills and suddenly everyone knows where I am and can get to me within seconds is so frustrating. The time to kill, esp hardcore is unreal. Maps like Sub Base are a spawn trap nightmare. Every single lobby on that map everyone hides in windows. In the old mw2 that entire left side with the long range would be a gun fight. Now ifs empty. Everyone just hides in corners or camps on headys. The sbmm is absolutely abysmal and there’s a cheater in every lobby. I have yet to play a game where I didn’t need to sweat my ass off to do decent. Not to mention you can’t see anyone cause the people blend in with the maps so well.
I was thinking how funny would it be if SBMM took all the players who were reverse boosting and threw them all in a lobby together. So they get in a lobby thinking its going to be easy, but then SURPRISE enjoy sweating against each other. 😂

I just went back and played WW2 for the first time in years and loved it. No bullshit bunny hopping and booty sliding. The SBMM was not cranked up to eleven. So much more enjoyable than this rigged carnival game.

I am okay to have 0,50 k/d instead over 3,0. I just want the game set me free on my movement, don't slow me down for no reason, just let me play with my muscle memory and hand-eye coordination. I am okay to compete in real skill based games but this system is not competition based, it is just nerfing the good against bad.
They turned off the sbmm in the new experimental playlist, the game still has problems however without SBMM at the very least it's somewhat fun I'd say. I hope they permanently turn this shit off or ramp it down and fix their Broken trash.

These maps were not great when we played them 14yrs ago and they still aren't. Even the MWII moshpit has improved that aspect. The amount of clutter on the MWII maps and the higher TTK and jumping and sliding, means you are shooting people but all the bullets are going into concrete posts, cars, cover and then they jump out and blitz you 😂🤷♂️🤦♂️

Which I have no clue why they would make old ping marks look exactly like enemies. But if it has distance by it thats a ping marker. That's how incompetent these devs are. Just a tip for ya homie!
