It's sad that they all look the same in S2, so I don't know who is enemy before they start shooting at me, when I see group of enemies, it happens that random stalkers are spawned near and I don't notice it and shoot them too. I really hope they will fix a-life system soon. There should be also some form of NPC identification like in older games to be sure who is in front of me and what faction it is. Stalkers and bandits look completely the same in this game.
Not for me? Duty and Freedom look similar cause of their armor but Ward has different armor to Duty and Freedom. Spark is a light blue armor light Clear Sky. I mean sure it's hard to see from far away, but saying they all look the same is just wrong
Duty is always right, and nothing will ever make that not the case. If anything, the more we learn about the zone the more that becomes true. You can't trust anyone whose objective isn't the complete destruction of the zone and anyone trying to exploit it for nefarious means (particularly if they claim the opposite).
duty are dumb as hell, correct if i’m wrong but it’s been canonically stated the zone can’t be destroyed so they’re just being douchbags by still existing.
Duty knows it's right at all times. It knows this because it knows where it isn't wrong. By subtracting what the Zone is from what it isn't - or what it isn't from what it is (whichever is more dangerous) - Duty achieves a singular truth: The Zone must be destroyed.
@@pannik_lucas the zone has created a way of life, a way of life that includes true unbridled freedom, free from worldly affairs, a place where you can be yourself. Yet duty, and yourself, views this as a danger? Fools, duty doesn’t like the zone because duty can’t control it. Self Determination is a right given by the zone and it is a right that must be protected.
Thanks great video. I appreciate that you didn't take 16 minutes to give 3 minutes of information. You didn't even have a 2 minute introduction that sets up the premise your audience had deduced by the title of the video.
No problem bro Happy you liked it and i started a journey on making an in-depth video for each faction too so you don't have to watch like 30 minutes video to get an understanding for all factions in one video you can watch what you like🙏
still missing Degtyarev's faction "Corp" who has a base in Pripiyat and Yaniv train station, I'm not sure what their goals is cause I haven't played till that part yet but I think it's both against Spark and Ward Also missing IPSF and Noontide. While Duty isn't really a faction any more in STALKER 2 and they're back to a small group now
@ShayanZ3E I'm sure of what I've said but would be best if you do research urself Also "Military" and "Scientists" are no longer factions of the Zone since the Ukrainian gov has withdrawn most of their personel. The replacement for both these factions is "IPSF" and "SIRCAA". The Ward looks more like Duty + UNISIG to me
In the first game Duty was really my favorite faction, best gear, best tactics on the field. I always felt like duty was on top of the rest of the zone. Fun fact the only faction to craft SEVA suit from is duty and it's one of the best if not the best early game armor.
I never liked Freedom much since, nobody is saying that you shouldn't be able to enter the zone except the Millitary (who do a shit job of it). And nobody is saying we shouldn't atleast use the information or research gained out of the Zone. Duty works with Ecologists and Loners who go into the zone looking for Anomalies and Artifacts. Duty's whole thing is just protecting people from the Zone and if they decide to join, then so be it. They just take things seriously if you want to get to Rostok since that's where their base is. But I always thought of it like, "If you can't handle the Zone down here and pay up to get inside then you won't handle it past the center of the Zone." Freedom being where they are is the only reason why they're sorta redeemable to me. But wouldn't it have been better if Duty held the Barrier instead? They only gave it up because they had infighting and had to give up the Army Warehouses due to lower manpower. Who would think that Freedom is in a good position in the Zone? It would make more sense if they were stationed in Darkscape/Cordon and protected Loners from the Millitary and/or Bandits and Mercenaries. But they're aligned WITH the Bandits and let Mercenaries pass even when they get contracts to kill Freedomers (and will always carry out those contracts, for their rule is "Every contract must be executed"). What if the Merc carrying out that Contract had to do it because they wanted to stop some Loner from gaining access to the center of the Zone? Why, Freedom? Atleast Duty opposes those Mercenaries and Bandits! They were probably allied with the Military at one point but the original games still have them hostile to eachother. For good reason, too. Every Stalker in the Zone is to be shot on sight per their orders. And many Dutyers are deserters anyway. But still, it's kind of hard to make this a plausible and interesting way to keep Freedom relevant. There would still need to be clashes and fundemental disagreements of Freedom against Duty if they changed positions like this.
Idk if it’s a spoiler but treat it like it🤷♂️ but YO I get why the mercs sos but I literally saved one early in the game and then every other merc has come to kill me.
You meet some merc groups here and there that are on a mission and don't really care about you, although most groups that you see in the wild will be hostile, and for a good reason.

yeah right we have to aim at them too see if the dot is green or not and beside they shoot before they talk
There was a mod in first stalker where it showed a lil icon when you aim at npcs. Really miss this feature here.
@@MrAsmoka you didn't need mod for that, npc identification was part of vanilla game
