I sooooooooo enjoyed listening to the owner of this 1963 Corvette Stingray talk about his car that I thought it was my thoughts being expressed when I first really eyed the Corvette for the very first time!

'Terrific video... so well done... captures the essence of both these fantastic cars... I'd still want the '65 just for the nostalgia. And the one he has is wonderfully equipped ... I'll never love any car any more than I love the C2 Corvette Sting Ray (1963-1967).
Superb demonstration of both vehicles and great camera work showing all the angles that need to be shown.
There is no other vehicle in the world as beautifully styled as the 63-67 Stingray........PERIOD END OF ARGUMENT.

Hell yeah! 63-67 are my favorite years of the Corvette then the C7 are my second choice!
Way to Go Joe...I had a 65 and then a 67 427 roadsters...Greatest cars I have ever owned.Had the 67 during the Gas embargo...sold it...Why did I do that...? Oh Well...I enjoyed those cars, drove them hard and had a blast...still wish I had either one back right now !
I personally think the new corvette is amazing, and probably going to be my next car. I am in my 20s's and it really appeals to me.

Haven't YET - but I will have a Red or Black 60's Corvette - and a 1958 Studebaker Truck.
I just really love these - one more, while I'm dreaming - a 1930 Soft Banana Yellow Buick Century.

Great video pal, agree 100% with you, GM has knocked it out of the park. AS for the shit spewers that I see posting negative trash, they could well be frustrated owners of other brands that have spent huge $ on cars that are slower and look dated or have simply not met their expectations, or simply be haters that don't understand the concept of respect...respect comes from knowledge, such as the success of the corvette racing teams. That said I am waiting to take deliver of my 2015 black Z51 coupe, absolutely love your vintage vette, beautiful team of cars.
Several of the comments here have disrespected the newer 'Vette, but if someone handed them the keys to one-even a C4 from 1984-they would be all over it. Envy sucks. Keep rolling, Joe.
The best looking corvette 65 stingray was from the 1985 TV series Stingray.

hincars: you took the words out of my mouth! I could not agree with you more!!!! With it's Tesla Viper like nose and Mustang side window behind the B-Port and Camaro tail lights it should not even be called a Corvette less loan a Sting Ray! Lots of them have been recalled....good way to spend bail out money GM!

Oh and as usual with all present day vehicles they screwed up the styling on the new version, it has no where near the lines the original has. I don't really care about power comparison etc, anyone with an ounce of taste can see the overwhelming beauty in the original.

And then the C4 came out and it all went to shit from there! you can make them fast as you want!!!! Chevrolet has taken the Class, and Style out of the Corvette... Disgusting that they even had to put the name Stingray on these latest models...
***** I can't agree sorry. If rather have a redesigned c5,c6, and c7 that was classy and beautiful with 85hp like the c4's and lower than what they have designed. All I see is a revamped A-team/Barbie car over and over. If I was for the mean look I have to grab the bumblebee version Camaro even tho I am against remakes.

Gone are the classy lines and unique Style, replaced with Transformer type plastic toy car styling by the younger clueless generation, who knows no better !!!
JetRanger0007 You blame the "younger clueless generation" as if they are the ones buying corvettes. Lets face it, most of these cars are going to middle aged men. They have always gone to middle aged men.
The newer Corvette and the Newer Camaros all Suck, their ruined, I've met very few people who care for the body style of the "Transformer" plastic toy car styling that's morphidite & ugly body lines that GM's younger generation dreamed up.
I used to be a GM guy all the way, now I've went with Mopar all the way and am a proud owner of a Mopar Dodge Challenger, that I've made very unique myself , least it has decent styling and retro body lines and style, unlike "GM's Plastic Toy Car Transformer Styling", ugly ass junk their churning out lately !

It's not transformers. It's moving on with the times. Aerodynamics read up on it. It has to not only look beefy and fast but drive like a rocketship blasting into space.
