regarding "what do I hit?!" - yeah, even as a spectator, i really wish the big fancy display would give more hints as to what the player can shoot for! and in a larger font, for that matter; i think most people would have to lean in close to the backbox to read some of the instructions that are already there! judging from the few clips and rules snippets i've seen, i think adding seven simple words to the screen would be a big help: "SHOOT LIT MUSICAL NOTES FOR BIG POINTS"
This looks absolutely gorgeous. In person it's probably the most beautiful game I've ever seen. Lights show on it add a LOT to the experience and pleasure playing it. Makes all other manufacturers lights show feel boring and dated (I own some recent Sterns and 2 CGC). It's fast and exciting. Ordered one after playing it at Expo and watching hours of gameplay.
