    The texture of this hair is perfect. You said your hair is not straight but to me it looks straight. In fact it’s way straighter than I ever got my hair too look since being natural

      Right! And girl really? I think I’m so use to every one showing their silky straight silk presses so mine looked super puffy. Loll let’s pray that I don’t have heat damage 😭

    It never ceases to amaze me the different things you do with your hair! I loveeee the results 😍😍😍 it looks so natural! I didn’t know you could wash your hair with tape ins

      Thank you for always supporting fren. I love trying new things lol. I’m going to see how well they hold up after I wash them , I did not know I could wash my hair with the tape ins either.

    I have been wanting to try tape ins for awhile now but I have been worried about damage as well as the takedown process because it looks like a lot! Your hair came out AMAZING though and I love the kinky straight texture! Would love to see you do an update after a few weeks and yes a takedown video would also be awesome!

    • @kemayak
      @kemayak  Рік тому

      Lol update the take down process was very easy. They practically slid out my hair after adding oil and water to them. I do feel the damage is dependent on the amount of heat added to the natural hair while having the tape ins. I’m going to post a video with more info. But my hair is fine after taking out the tape ins, I just have a little heat damage at the back. Thank you so much for watching 🤍

    Okay yes I’m glad I’m not the only one , I’m curious on how the take down process is too that’s why I’m scared to get them lol

    The results looks so great. I would love to try this. I don’t wear weave but I like the versatility of it. I fear the take out the possible damage seeing you have to use small sections of your hair

      Thank you for watching Camila. I’m also nervous about the take down too for the exact same concerns you have. Lol if all goes well this is about to be my new go to because it’s so convenient and versatile.

    I have never used tape ins before but I’m intrigued. You seemed to install pretty easily. And they blended into your hair perfectly. And good to know you don’t feel them as you sleep. How do you take them out?

    • @kemayak
      @kemayak  Рік тому +1

      Thank you so much for watching and for leaving a comment. I’m so glad they blended with my hair lol I was so nervous. There’s a oil solution that is used to take them out; you basically let the oil saturate the tapes and they’re supposed to slide out. I’ve been oiling my scalp for the past week and the oil has resulted in some of the tapes just gliding out.

    This hair is gorgeous!! And I agree with you on how full just the 1 1/2 bundles made your hair look. Thats great that they provide a good amount of the hair for you!! I have seen my sister get bundles and she gets so mad when theres just not enough hair to do what she wanted. Then she has to go out and buy another pack. They make it easy to achieve the look without having to overbuy. To me that is a plus. I love the way this looks on you!!

    • @kemayak
      @kemayak  Рік тому +1

      Thank you hun. Yes, with some of my other hairs I have to get extra bundles too. Ywigs definitely made sure each bundle was thick and full.

    The texture of these tape ins mimics natural hair so well. Each bundle had a nice density to it and didn’t look thin at all. I’ve tried clip ins in the past and they didn’t give me the look I was going for. How long can you safely keep tapes in on if you’re washing your hair? I love how clear your explanation on the install was.

    • @kemayak
      @kemayak  Рік тому

      Thank you Yana. When I use clip ins I usually go for my exact natural hair texture which is 4a/4b, that’s really the only time they look nice for me.
      I’m not able to speak from experience in regards to how long I can safely keep them in my hair after washing. But based on the directions they last 8-12 weeks. It has been 2 weeks and some have called out of my hair due to the oil from my scalp loosening up the tapes. Most are still in tact. I think I’ll do a video to show what happens when I wash them.
      Thank you for watching and leaving feedback 🫶🏾
