To be honest here every celebration is basically a commercial period.
Whether it's Valentine's day, Christmas and new years eve or Easter it's those days where stores are selling the most.
So DIY gifts are literally the best thing you can do for you, your wallet and also for the recipient of the gift where he/she will appreciate the time you spend to make that gift for him/her.
So videos like this are super useful if you are on the same mentality as me!

@@kalycarlg Growing up as a lesbian with lesbian parents, let me tell you something: sapphics LOVE anything that they know you put your time into! (Okay, I know this is an overgeneralization, but, I mean, I've never come across a lesbian who isn't like that? haha).
One of the best gifts is, indeed, a (love) letter. It doesn't have to be much, it can be cheesy -- it really doesn't matter. Lesbians love handwritten letters (especially when they're readers)!
Last year, I gifted my girlfriend a keychain with a spotify code on it to hang on her car keys. I chose the song 'Girl Crush', and she loved it SO much! This just goes as an example to show that it really doesn't have to be something big.
Or do you know if she likes a particular artist or band or something like that? There are loads of websites out there (like RedBubble) where you can get a mug, blanket, shirt, etc. with the face of someone or something related to an artist on it. For example, I gave my girlfriend a Reneé Rapp blanket this Christmas, and when I tell you she didn't have to sit on the ground and basically started crying, I would be lying, haha. Now, she is constantly walking around her appartment with that blanket. I think I might have lost her to Reneé...
