    Does HSA Rollover?

    • @fidelityinvestments

      Hey there! We appreciate the question and are happy to help.
      Generally, you can move a Health Savings Account (HSA) from one firm to another through a transfer of assets (TOA). A TOA is a non-reportable direct transfer between institutions. Fidelity doesn't charge any fees; however, the sending firm may. We suggest contacting them to confirm whether they charge any TOA fees.
      If you decide to proceed with the TOA, you can learn more and begin the process using the link below.

      We've also included an article below where you can learn more about consolidating HSAs.

      If you have any other questions about this, please send us a private message, and we'll follow up with you there.

    Is there a penalty for withdrawing my 401k if retiring before 65 years old?

      @fidelityinvestments  9 днів тому

      Thanks for the question! The answer is sometimes. The cut-off for it not counting as an early withdraw is not 65, it's age 59½. Money withdrawn from a workplace retirement plan before age 59½ will generally be subject to ordinary income taxes and a 10% early withdrawal penalty, although there are exceptions. We have an article we'll link below that describes the rules around taking withdrawals from a 401(k) and what to consider.

      If you have any other questions about withdrawals or rollovers, our Workplace team can help. To find the different ways to reach them, click the "Customer Service" icon near the top right corner of the NetBenefits website or visit the link below. Associates are generally available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to midnight ET to assist you.
