I've heard that some units in this building will accept a cat. Most of what I read about cats and condos suggests the buildings have a no pets policy but the individual owner allows you to discreetly sneak one in. Thoughts?
I have certainly heard of some individual owners secretly allowing pets, but what happens if the building finds out and blocks your access. Will you get your deposit back? Or.... Please do not try an sneak pets in it causes a lot of hassles
@@perfecthomeschiangmai My thoughts too. It's not worth the risk that it could all go wrong. I just wish there were more options for responsible pet owners. We've invested thousands to bring our pets to Thailand with us and then struggle to find a nice home. :-(
@@DebyColes I totally understand and agree, but there are too many irresponsible pet owners that have caused many issues for many owners. We have had to repaid condos damaged by cats that have snuck into condo and these costs far out way any damage deposits. It is a shame!
Lived here for the last 7 years (since it opened almost). Great location and very well maintained. It seems my one bedroom is a little smaller but I pay a MUCH lower price. But, definitely a great location and great pool/gyms - I’ve been happy here for 7 years.
Thanks for sharing! I am pleased to hear you love this building and I am not surprised your rates are lower if you been in the same unit for 7 years. I also agree it is a great location on the chang klan road.
That’s awesome! 😊 It sounds like a great choice for your stay in Chiang Mai. You’ll love the area, especially if you’re looking for a mix of comfort and convenience. Have you already planned out some spots you want to explore while you’re there?
I used to live in that building. The place was full of short term BNB rentals. That's why I moved out. The pool was always full of the short term BNB crowd. As a long term resident, it's very annoying when you want to enjoy the pool.
Ms. Manow said small TV because it is a small TV. It is *not* a large TV. People are not stupid they can see it is a small TV, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Thanks for your honest feedback! You’re absolutely right-viewers can definitely spot things like the TV size on their own, and there’s nothing wrong with having a smaller one, especially if it suits the space. We’ll make sure to be mindful of those kinds of comments in the future. Are there any other details or features you’d like us to focus on more in future videos? 😊

Oh yes! The Astra certainly has a lot of short term rentals going on. And it not very popular with some of the longer term residents.
Hey, heard dental work is cheap in Thailand....
We will let Simon know!
LOL
Wow, that is unnecessarily rude. You must be American.
@@le_th_ nope I'm not. Just not British
I lived here for 6 months...it's a truly horrible building.
thanks for your thoughts and comments the Astra is not everyones favourite Condo but there is no question that is a very popular choice.
Please tell us more.
a lot of people don't like the Astra as it very AIRBNB friendly so many people feel it is more like a hotel than a condo.
More like Miss Meeyow, amirite fellas????
I'll see myself out. 😢

Finally ….. a good size for a modern condo 👍🏼. Most are tiny nowadays (30-35 sq m).
You are right, there are more and more smaller condos in Chiang Mai, did you see one of our first videos that was 25 sq meters?
I would like her to contact me about that condo. Looking for a place with best gym and pool. Thanks
