the run is more like most wanted than the others nfs games. the skies, the saturation, the soundtrack, the tension, the visual... all of it reminds me most wanted. the run was the only one game that resurrected the same emotion of that times
Funny you should mention fast and furious, Brian Tyler, the composer of this soundtrack also made the entire soundtrack for Fast and Furious 5. And for the train heist scene and vault heist scene, you can actually hear parts of the NFS The Run Soundtrack. Just goes to show how good the soundtrack is.
I hope they remake or do the run 2 but with actual open world when you finish the story mode. It's actually pretty good, the feel, the atmosphere are nice like an interactive movie.

The Run's soundtrack was aligned with how the races progressed, so you would really feel the rush building as you would near the end of a race. That, in my opinion, greatly improved the experience. That is why the game felt like a movie.
Even more epic in the snowy mountain pass on extreme, just pure speed and drifting, no other cars and barely making it to each checkpoints. What a Godly OST.

Sure, the game itself was pretty crappy, but when you don't fuck up any segments for a while, it feels like you're in an interactive movie, even though half the crap is scripted to happen. NFS MW 2005 is still my favourite for gameplay by far, but the run's story blows it out of the water.

A little input! I think you need to increase the volume from 1:56 to match the first part. Sounded a bit odd, since there is a volume difference between the parts... also, can you do something about the horns?
Probably some stage on easy. Either that or this is an extended version ripped from the game files. But I don't think so as I heard some car horns in the audio. (The cars do beep at you if they pull up behind you and you aren't going fast enough or you are stopped.)
Story of this game was nice but not as other ones.Music is awesome(when combined with gameplay) and I must say this game is good but I am sure that "The Need for Speed"(the one they are making for next gen consoles) will be better. As a summary, potatoes are healthy.

I decided to finish this game on extreme mode and it was hell. I hope they will make a sequel to this game and it would be cool if the action will be in Europe. Although it's EA and the story is as dull as usual (Yep, I can come up with more elaborate stuff once again), I cannot deny that this soundtrack gives just the right adrenaline for any time trial racing game. What I don't get is why they're still insisting on those licensed hit-charts-bullshit tracks in other modes. They're mostly disgusting to hear and don't fit at all.
TheMrRuttazzo How much more "story" can you add the game? Jack owes money to the mafia and he needs to win a race to get the money to pay the debt, simple as that. What's more to add? The game is heavily focused on action.
