This sedan brings me a sigh of relief. It's not another bland, lookalike SUV. I do not envy you motoring journalists who have to be very creative in pointing out differences among SUVs...which the sales figures say people want. That said...I come for the vehicle reports and stay for your family interactions! ❤ Aloha.
Real world range for this model is 340 miles out of 282 from the EPA. Like I said many times before, Hyundai/Kia/Genesis have went the German route by underestimating EPA range & horsepower for a few years now.
I would instantly get it if it had a moonroof:panoramic roof. As it is I am now hesitating, I don’t think they should have been so quick to cut it. Maybe just a non-opening roof but still the ability to let sunlight in.
I don't know if it was the camera angle or not, but that screen seemed like quite a reach for the driver, which to me would seem to be very distracting/unsafe while driving. But what I really loved about this video was seeing Evie having as much fun as possible behind the wheel! That is, until "Mr. Killjoy" decided he needed to get back into the drivers seat! HA!!!🤣😂 Love you guys!
I’m tall is this taller than a model s p85d? It’s a pain getting my infant in his rear facing seat ? Also redline states 4.2 0-60 but this states 4.9 which is the accurate times?
@@MicahMuzio The way I looked at it when I was considering switching to an electric car for commuting was to include the reduction in operating cost into the price calculation. I saved about $240/month in fuel costs which had a present value of nearly $30k. So an EV can save a lot of money (or justify a much higher purchase price) but of course, you have to have access to capital to capture that value. It's another example of Pratchett's "Boots Theory" of wealth and costs.
Lmao that was the best clap scene...noooooo 👏 I love anyone who will freely admit they might be a happier person now, I'd bet it's blue light. Prolly been reduced since last Gen.
11:02 Micah "I'm going to get back in the drivers seat"
Evie "Noooo-"
*slap!*

You guys always make my day
Fun that you released a video about a car made in S Korea at the same time you’re actually in S Korea.
Oh, I just saw your IG story. You’re back!
Great review as always. The car… looks an old fashioned shape and approach and - how much !!! Wow 😮
Great family review as always, will be interesting to see which I can buy first in Georgia, electrified G80 or electrified Volvo S90. 🤔⚡️👍👍
Volvo for sure. This is a hyundai, which loses value faster than a Zimbabwean Dollar.

Noticed this as well.
Gah. Fixed!! Thanks for the alert. 😅
I remember your eeri flights above the mostly empty skies around downtown LA under lockdown. Do you regularly fly these days?
Chip board interior...
Please, oriented strand board 😉
Can we talk about how beautiful that paint color is!? Also the blue piping on the seats it’s really beautiful
Is it Tasman Blue? Looks gorgeous.
It almost looked like they reviewed the G80 in the Cardiff Green (I have that color for my GV70) but did highway shots of one in the blue color.
I saw g80e in this exact color in person. Man what a looker.
@@srirajizationmatira blue. exclusive to the electrified version.
Looked like Evie didn't want to give up the wheel!
No she did not. :)
To my recollection, the only other car I've seen her that moved by is the BMW M440i convertible. 🤔🌞👍👍
@@kencoleman8929 Evie's developing expensive tastes. 😬

11:01 Hahaha
Micah, you and your family are so wholesome
Watch out, Evie is going to trade in the Bronco for this Electrified G80.
g80 electric 0-60 4,1sec g80 gas 0-60 4.9sec
How's it like living in lake arrowhead so far?
It’s ironic that Genesis opened their first stand-alone dealership in Louisiana, but that’s not a state you can buy the G80 Electrified in.

I think there’s a dial control in the center console to control the screen.
Evie didnt want to stop driving lol😂
Your family is cute
Great review and video. Ugly car
The wheels 🤢
It also needs a sunroof.
👋
I really hate it when auto makers limit where you can buy vehicles when they are introduced.
13:00 Was the iguana on vacation this week?
I'd like the to build an electrified G90 or something full-size, the G80 is just a little too small
So valuable EV sedan
No sunroof?
More Micah flys please
For a moment I thought Micah painted his nails red
Good luck trying to find a place to charge it
Hey man I saw you yesterday at lake arrowhead. I should have say hi.
Where's the chopper vids Bruv?
I'm honestly just bummed there's no option for a pano or regular sunroof on the EV version.

Super
Fantastic video guys, and this car is great, though for now, I’d personally stick to the gasoline G80!😸
It’s hard to justify the price bump for the EV. But it is quick!

@@mdrudholm These are excellent insights, Mark. Thanks for sharing!
Definitely gotta keep using the "recalibrate ourselves" gesture from now on!! Haha!
Wow, Evie really likes this car. 👍
Must be good, Evie didn't want to stop driving it!
Despite the economic downturn,l'm so happy 😊I have been earning $ 60,000 returns from my $15,000 investment every 14days.
Since I started my investment of $7,000 with Mrs Julie, I am now having $29,450 in my portfolio.
“Does Evie Like it?” “Is it $70k?” …..Yes 😂……the Iguana was seriously sleeping on a couple of those comments 🦎
We like leaving some iguana gaps for you to fill. 🦎
Family Reviews are at their best when Evie drives!
4:54 Awesome timing. 😎
Sorry, but it's kind of ugly. lol That infotainment display on the dash looks like a slot machine. 😂
