Tried so hard being a swing-trader in my early stages of trading, even though it was against my personality actually, failed and failed again, than thought to myself, you know what F it, im gonna use what I know on the lower time-frames and become a scalper...
Ever since then I got funded with a few accounts already, made it to payouts b2b, life changed.
All I wanna say with this is guys, if you are naturally more a scalper - scalp.
If you are naturally more like a swing trader - swing trade.
If you dont know yet if you are more like a swing trader or a scalper, time to get back to the charts and try it out, fail, win, fail some more - but most importantly: Learn and Adapt.

Small time frames simply have more edge because of two simple facts:
    1. The longer the time, more things are prone to change.
    2. Market inefficiency is going to be absorbed as the time pasts, because that's what traders do lol
But more edge doesn't mean it is easier, and if you have 'some' edge, you can definetely make money.
What fits your personality and what is easier for you is important.
But regardless what style to choose, the way how the prop firm pros think is a must to learn.

Y'all are comparing apples to bananas. It doesn't matter whether you scalp, swing, or day trade. Number one: the only thing that matters is your analysis and strategy. The execution of your strategy is then determined by the market. But after all, in simple terms, you need to be right. Even a scalper wants to go with the flow instead of scalping counter movements. Because that's just stupid. High risk against the money flow will make you lose everything in the long term. Determining the right direction comes from knowing and understanding the market. And this is what matters. And so on, and so on. No time to explain it all. But $200 traders discussing with each other which "style of execution is better" is just a joke. Long story short: Scalping vs Swing? GET A JOB!

So 50% of knowing when the move will happen is done. But, the other 50% is knowing what direction it will go! That's what I'm having trouble with, getting faked out and picking the wrong direction. You are showing 5 star swing setups for the best scalp trades. But why in the world would you scalp 5 star swing setups that took day/weeks to build. Some of the best moves take weeks or even months in a good market. And you want to scalp it for a homerun 4-5 r trade. Most scalpers don’t look at those setups because they only take small pieces of momentum.

there are many free strategies even on UA-cam. you really do have to put some effort in to find what will work for you. forward test with demo, then forward test with real money on a tiny scale and build size over time. don't expect to be spoon-fed.

The reason most traders can't scalp is not because it's impossible, but their head is in the wrong place and they're not mature enough to handle it psychologically.

When I have the right setup, I can make a lot scalping. But I always think: Why can people like us make money this way? What if everybody did the same? Do we bring value to the world or not?
That's why my goal is to use the money I make from trading and create a business, where I do create jobs and value.

I just moved to scalping last week after 3.5 years trading and I've been profitable 3 days in a row. I wasn't comfortable with the 1 min chart but now am and catching 1:2 min. You don't see your setup, don't trade that day.

Abdullah, you are quickly becoming a GOAT in this area. Bringing the high level techniques and thinking of the professional trader to the hungry and aspiring independent traders is the content I have been searching for as I have long as I have been on this journey. For making this all make sense for the masses, I thank you. 💯

I just don't care about which pays more. If I earn more money than I would without trading, I am satisfied. Some people are scalpers and can't trade intraday or swing, so scalping is right for them and the other way, too. So don't take what earns the most money. Try to see who you are instead. Some people can't have money on the market for more than 30 minutes, and others can have it for a few days. With that said, I hope all find their way.
