This is the tenth video of my A1- course and in this video you will learn about some professions in German. You will also learn how to say what your profession is and how to ask for someone's profession.

When I Say, "I am a Development Worker in German", Is it okay to say as "Ich bin Entwicklung Beiter"?

Why are there two ways to say businessman/woman?
"Geschäftsmann/frau" is somebody who owns his/her own business. "Kaufmann/frau" is more like sbd who has studied or learnt this profession to deal with numbers and business, for example Bankkaufmann/frau. Yes, it's little tricky, since dictionaries show "businessman/woman" for both words.

mee-cha-troo-nii-ker (accent on "troo"). I would suggest you to google "Mechatroniker Aussprache".

'Was sind Sie? 'also have the same meaning like other two questions I asked you on my first comment.
"Was sind Sie?" Only is not used while asking for profession. It sounds very impolite and unclear.

Yes, it requires some adjustments and practice. I am planning to do a video soon on pronunciation :)
@@DeutschmitInap i have difficulty in pronouncing the words which need to be pronounced by throat, it's really hard to get it right
It takes some time to get it right. You are already on right track. Knowing that sth needs to come from throat is already an achievement. Many don't even realize that. So just keep practicing. You will get it right at some point :)
@@DeutschmitInap I practiced for a day and now I'm comfortable to pronounce words like Sprache and sprachen. Thanks for the advice. Now I'm learning grammar. Thanks for uploading such good videos :)
