    Frankly, I love the unedited version, because you get the sense that you're actually at Pearson plane-tracking. The Toronto ATC immensely enhances the experience. Great job!

    Yup, I too think the A340 is the best looking plane out there. Pity it's not in production anymore. GREAT video, by the way!!!

    Unedited videos sometimes are more interesting to watch as they actually show what is going on

      yeah the winglets are cool
      when Air Canada gets it's 787s they will fit some of it's 767s with winglets and give them to Air Canada Rouge which is a charter branch of AC

    yes a few times, depends what the alert level is. It's ok to stand here but sometimes they don't like you parking there.

    • @HaltonRailfan
      @HaltonRailfan 10 років тому +1

      Yeah I have gotten kicked out for parking there a few times. In the summer it is nice since there is a parking lot for the soccer field there and just a 10 min walk away off of Britannia Road (Convair Dr) and you can just park there without the hassle of getting being told to leave.

    Sittin' here watching this... THIS is planespotting. Are you doing this free-hand like I do or tripod?

    • @daveni2
      @daveni2  10 років тому +1

      I do it with a tripod as well as free hand
      There is a lot of Air Canada as it is by far Canada's largest airline and Toronto is it's major hub. for every overseas airplane there is one Air Canada going to the same place. The american ones are never heavies as they only travel to and from the US, mostly to connections. You don't see as much variety at this spot as 23 and 05 to the north as that runway is farther from major highways and buildings.

    I wish I could get ground footage like this at ORD.... but I think we got you beat in traffic levels and variety. A W E S O M E video! If you name it a little more descriptively and also add more tags this thing could get thousands more views.
    In short, we need more spotters like you. THUMBS UP!

    • @daveni2
      @daveni2  10 років тому +1

      I love doing this. I am not too worried about views as much as I love watching this myself lol. I made some new ones in the last couple days you should check them out. Winter is cold but the light from the snow is really cool the way it lights up the planes.

    • @OHAREAVIATION
      @OHAREAVIATION 10 років тому

      Dave Isenor Very cool! Yeah, just figured I'd offer advice and let you decide if you want to take it or not. I also do my filming for fun primarily. I will check out your latest. Having filmed in snowy conditions myself a bunch, I can also say I like filming in sunny/snowy even better than summer as the haze is non-existent.

    • @manualflight
      @manualflight 10 років тому

      Hah I think ORD has great views too but what spot do you use for 6L Dave Isenor? I feel like other than 05 or 23, everywhere else have tight security or bad views.

    Is this a location accessible to public where you can get this close to the runway? Obviously you are behind a fence, but this isn't a place where you get chased away by cops?

    • @ofcgow
      @ofcgow 9 років тому

      You're okay anywhere outside the fence at any airport in a non-dangerous country like Canada or the UK

  • @HaltonRailfan
