- The Monroe Township Fire Department and several mutual aid Departments spent several hours working to remove a cleaning contractor from the Johnstown Water Tower. The worker had fallen from the top of the tower and was hanging by his safety harness. Firefighters successfully brought him back to the top of the tower and removed him to ground level for evaluation.
Companies on scene:
Monroe Township (Johnstown): Q501, R501, M501
Granville Township: C200, R201
Plain Township (New Albany): B121, ER121, L121
West Licking Joint Fire District: C402, SQ401
Newton Township: R391
Hartford Township: M962
St. Albans Township (Alexandria): M432
That Newton Township rescue was formally in 9/11. Pretty neat to see it still running and that it survived.
What department was is with?
@@centralohioemergency Not Sure.
Hartford has ambulances never new
Also that FPIU beside the Granville Rescue. What agency is that?
That is Johnstown Police Department.
Surprised west licking went up that far
I think Newton Township had even a slightly further trip. Most likely there is a county-wide mutual aid agreement of some sort for technical rescues. I was surprised that Squad 401 went instead of Rescue 401.
@@centralohioemergency Last I known R401 wasn't running but that was a month ago it could be now
@@timbarnhart7971 Interesting. It seems they are still listed as Out of Service.
