So excited to finally see this. My family used to visit Santa's Village at least once per year, and this coaster replaced an old childhood favorite. This appears to be a very worthy successor!
I love the flow of the next gen roller skaters. It says a lot about the vekoma renaissance that they even went back and redesigned their family coasters
Vekoma is starting out small by bringing family coasters to the US, but soon we could see the types of coasters we see right now in europe popping up at several US theme parks.
This replaced Rudy's Rapid Transit looks like a good replacement to me but they need to add more theming it it currently looks like a generic coaster. They really need to push that Christmas theming
Wow that's a really calm and graceful layout, I usually don't do too well with the Vekoma juniors because of their start-stop pacing and rather sharp turns, but this looks fab!
I don’t completely agree with the reply you received. We went today and took my 7 year old and she did great on Rudy’s rollercoaster but was terrified on this one. The first drop is so tame but the second turn mini drop does give you a little air time. Yes tame in comparison to other coasters by this company but definitely not tame for a child. I’d say perfect for a 10+ year old but many little kids were crying on this thing. My kid didn’t cry but she was shocked by the thrill from Rudy’s to this. I wouldn’t say family friendly like Rudy’s was. More like kid high thrill but semi tame tor adults.
They chose the colors to emulate Santa’s sleigh traveling with the Northern Lights in a dark sky, and to counteract the overwhelming amount of red and green everywhere else in the park

It looks like very smooth and a very fun family coaster. Vekoma is very good at these kind of rides and I hope there are more of these
A heavily themed one is going up at Dreamworld Australia called Jungle Rush
The fact that theirs just a little amusement park in the middle of a neighborhood just makes this place really interesting ❤

Vekoma Rides did a nice job with this family coaster I hope to get a ride on it some day.

Flash at Great Adventure opens this year too
This rollercoaster was amazing I went on it with dad and sisters and we all loved it!!
It was a pleasure to see this coaster come to life, I have absolutely loved my flights on it so far.
I just love graceful coasters like these!
That's a great little coaster for the park. They needed something like this.

i just did it today i love how its very smooth
Damn I love that color scheme.
Looks really fun!
I wish sanatas village could just get like a good wooden coaster or something. I know its a family park but I just need a north east holiday world
That’s so nice they run it twice
The Vekoma junior coasters makes a comeback with a layout that looks pretty the same as the old ones: but this is smoother😊
those new vekoma are eye candy, they're so smooth and the rail is nice to look at, idk
I used to operate the old roller coasted in the summer of 2014, must be nice to have real brakes now instead of the old lever brake!
Nice colors
Just went on this yesterday, it was so smooth you couldn’t even hear it
What were the restraints like? Any dividers between the seats? (I see that it's two seats per row)
Looks like a perfect coaster for a park that size. Is more than single train ops even possible?
Yep
Vekoma’s site says this layout has the option for two train ops. Probably need one lap per ride though.
Nice how it does 2 laps.
The fact that a clone of this is coming to Six Flags Qiddiya
It goes 2 TIME'S?!!?
Is there any airtime or laterals on the ride?
not really, no. its very tame.

It goes two times?
as long as every kid is fine going around again, then yes!
Excitement 2.6
Intensity 1.5
Nausea 0.8
Most popular ride in the park
It sure looks that way, but it's probably a GoPro thing.
Is it smooth?
extremely
2 times?
These things are not quite family coasters but also not quite kiddie coasters, idk what to call them, “kiddie thrill?”
😂😂
Junior coaster
More like kiddy family
I didn't know Illinois had so many mountains!
This is New Hampshire.
This is New Hampshire!
The name and color are a weird combo.

i love how grown adults are screaming on kiddie/family coaster.....🤦♀ 🤣
This is cgi
