    Really excellent review. I've always loved Sunseeker, but they've really moved up a notch and the price is stunning.

    I love the 3 cabin layout, stunning boat, however no room over engines, the crew cabin is not a nice place to be, its way to small. I would put the tender on the back and give the crew decent space.

    Very nice tour there, thank you! I think they could have done better with the tender on the outside aft thereby giving some breathing room to the crew. While I am not much on the ultra modern interior designs, I will say that this one was very well done. In particular was the fabric on the outside areas. Normally, the fabric looks too delicate as though it would not weather a couple of seasons, but this fabric looks very well constructed. Having cold storage all over the place is very nice because you can put one type of beverage in one, another type in another and so on. Sunseeker is a great build and rarely do they not get a really good stamp of approval.

    3.2 million bugger all for a boat of this size and quality brand-new. It’s lovely. In these mad times you can pay more than that for a car

    I think the owner and they're guests will be spoilt for choice with comfortable areas to eat sleep, relax. Like the decoration of the yacht plenty of fridges. Plus the galley with its breakfast nook line that plenty of lightdown there which as the crew quarters are not roomy the breakfast noom is useful for them. Would like to see her at sea hint hint.

    Nicely done Hugo……🇬🇧🥳
    Sunseeker…… a class act as ever 🎉
    40 knots is mad for such a large and opulent craft……. gorgeous V12 power, but wouldn’t want to be filling the tanks……or hearing them drain, like a bath emptying…… 😳

  • @clifbradley

    It's nice, on the cusp of owner operators so I get only 2 cabins for crew, but given the 74 had 3 crew spaces, that is something that would need to be explored. But this is is just like a 50 foot catamaran space wise and probably about the same price. But I think you would get more space with the cat, and more crew really. If it came down to it though, I would look for a Pearl or an Azimut. This is just a bigger boat but without all the space and other things you could get from like a 25 metri Magellano from Azimut, or the S7 amd Pearl has all this plus in the 80. Worth the bump in price once you get to these numbers

    • @Puzzoozoo
      @Puzzoozoo 5 місяців тому

      From what I have read about Azimut of yachting forums from people who have ha experience of them I wouldn't even consider buying one if I had that kind of money.

    Amazing boat. Personally i;d go for the 4 cabin layout. 2 couples with 2 kids fit better. Would think better for charter as well. Not an issue i have to worry about just yet at 3.2m but one day. Keep up the great videos.

    Hi Hugo. Very nice job in some difficult circumstances. I have to keep re-watching as I'm distracted by stuff in the background. 75 is an odd size. It's too big to be a small boat and too small to be a big boat. I couldn't see this as a long distance boat, but then the Bahamas are only 50 miles or so to Florida at the closest. You could leave Miami and spend a few days or a week noodling around the islands and them come back and be comfortable the whole time.

    • @hugoandreae3785
      @hugoandreae3785 Рік тому

      @@hugoandreae3785 It wasn’t him. It was the girl dressed all in black. And - all the other boats - was that a big Princess in the background off the stern? And what were those yachts next to the 75?

  • @amcconnell6730
    @amcconnell6730 Рік тому

    When you have the radar on a Sportzbridge mounted at the back of the Flybridge like that - does that mean you can't run the radar when you are operating from the upper helm? (I'm talking about radiation exposure from the antennae that would be just behind you.)

    • @hugoandreae3785
      @hugoandreae3785 Рік тому

      It’s fine to use it, the pulses are far too weak to do any harm but it would of course block the radar’s view if you stood in front of it

    That crew cabin wet-head door needs changing. Even as very good friends or a couple said door still needs to be frosted!
    That aside it's a really nice update and a pretty boat.

    Sunseekers arch rival Princess's Y78 can be handled solo by a skipper who really knows what they are doing, can this one?

    • @darthkek1953
      @darthkek1953 5 місяців тому

      Yes. James from Sunseeker Southampton has gone through how easy it is to handle the larger boats. Your boat needs a remote controller but they allow for joystick manoeuvre, DPS skyhook, remote chain, etc.

    Meh....I don't care who makes them; washer/dryer combo units suck and have no place on a multi-megabuck yacht. The crew cabin is abysmal: Wet bath, one tiny porthole, and no storage. And what's with the low mounted radar? It's low enough where I'm wondering if it would be safe to operate if anyone was on the fly bridge. (There are other yachts that are worse; all in the name of stylish looks.) Everything else is great looking.

    • @ericduany2809
      @ericduany2809 Рік тому +2

      The other issue is since they tried to include the crew cabin it means you gotta partially deflate your tender. And that would be obnoxious to have to remove or add air every time you want to use it.
      Either get rid of the crew cabin, increase garage space and increase storage.
      Or improve crew cabin, remove tender garage and use swim platform to stow tender when not being used.
      At 75 feet I’d assume most buyers are owner operators. It’s right on the edge of being small enough for owner operator versus a dedicated experienced captain.

    • @AbNomal621
      @AbNomal621 Рік тому

      The crew cabin is great. It tells the crew what you think of them. Not only a crappy stuffed in layout, but they have to pass through that door in. Now they know they are “valued.” Then again, I wondered why you would ever open the seating for the starboard side entry to the cockpit. Usable, all my family would quickly learn to go up the port steps. And the captain will regret heading out the side door to go to the stern docking station.

      Charter mainly but also Med owners. UK owner operators don't tend to take them, but it's common for Spanish/Greek/Italian owners to have a skipper. But mainly, charter.
