This is just me but i interpreted it this way: the first lines are for olivia (i don't hate you and i understand why you're hurt) then it gradually turns to address the people assuming things and sending hate (this is my side and you won't hurt me if i don't let you). Then there's lines for olivia again (hope that we'll be okay one day). I think this song is both for the angry olivia fans and olivia herself but i didn't feel like she's taunting anyone. More like expressing her strength and being hopeful that it will be okay someday?

I feel like theres three options here either:
1. This is a genuine love triangle and they all privately hating on each other and expressing it through song
2. Its fake and all three have very cleverly orchestrated this whole thing to benefit all of their careers i.e. getting fans to believe shits gone down over the last 6 months, then releasing songs that fits into that narrative one after the other!!
3. Its a bit of both.
I think it’s a bit of both. Like this actually did happen last summer but now the three are cool & liv just had driver’s license,a great song she wrote abt it, laying around while Josh had lie lie lie. So they decide to release them & make Sab write a “diss” to further their careers/piggyback off this situation
It’s a pr stunt bc the releases of their songs make it seem like Sabrina & Josh are responding to Driver License even though they teased their songs before January. However I do think their relationships are real. Olivia & Josh dated but then broke up and now Josh & Sabrina are dating. Olivia is sad about that, which caused her fans to attack Sabrina. So Sabrina is calling out Olivias fans for being rude. She’s also telling Olivia that she’ll get over the heartbreak eventually. So the drama is real but the marketing makes it look like a pr stunt

I've been on tiktok and it pains me to read the comments hating on Sabrina, I've known Sabrina for a long time now (I actually only knew Olivia because of Sabrina) and to be honest it's not fair for Sabrina, Olivia started this drama when she mentioned "blonde girl" in driver's license, and Sabrina replied by "Maybe blonde was the only rhyme" giving Olivia the benefit of the doubt that maybe she just didn't mean all of it and maybe it was just for the song.
Sabrina also says "Maybe we could've been friends if I met you in another life" stating that she hopes that if they weren't under the spotlight they could've friends.

I think the main issue is that this song plays the whole "I'm happy and you hate it" and "while he's on mine" lyrics. One is saying that Olivia was purposefully harmful when 1. Drivers License threw her into the mainstream, 2. She mentions her for ONE lyric in the song. 3. It's never cool to brag to someone that you are with their ex now.
She can express her feelings all she wants but I feel like these act like Olivia is particularly worried about her when it's more of her being pissed at Josh. While fans are the dumb ones for inciting this and harassing people.
Overall even if Sabrina is the new girl, this dispute at its core is between Olivia and Josh. Just my opinion though
