Deku main here, I've figured when dealing with this busted piece of shit, I find it best to stay grounded and watch for when the AFO is going to use his gamma pull, a perfectly timed dodge can guarantee free dmg because most AFO players immediately resort to the beta move, not knowing you just completely dodged their move
Facts I've gotten good at dodging his beta. You gotta fight AFO like he's a damn Dark Souls boss. 😭 Or whenever he grabs my teammates I blast him while he's combo-ing them. His range and reload speed could still be nerfed tbh. I was on top of a building one time I swear to God the very tip of his gamma grabbed me by my toes 😭

How to dodge AFO Gamma Pull
*If out in the open, FKN HIT HIM OUT OF IT, ANY KNOCKBACK/STUN/GRAB MOVE WILL INTERRUPT IT AND PUT IT ON COOLDOWN.
*if protected and cant move out of the radius, remain grounded. There is a brief 1.5 second moment when the white indicator disappears and then the pull activates. Anyone who is expecting this to happen is almost guaranteed to dodge roll it during this brief moment.

I did a ranked match earlier today where there was a stray AFO weaving between the bushes in the central part of the park map and me being Twice I was naturally hard targeting him. He used his gamma pull to push me away TWICE after I guardbroke him three times. He got away and I ultimately died because my teammate got into a separate fight that dragged us into a 3v2. A lot of the characters in the game needs to be fixed imo and I hope they do because despite this game technically being a gacha game, I really personally enjoy it. I always wanted a MHA battle royale (well not specifically MHA but you get the gist)
(sorry I forget what that place is called haven't watched show in a while, the map is the situation training or whatever that got invaded by Nomus in the first couple of season)
Its shocking when AFO magically teleports you into storm lol! The gamma itself is ok, but the radius/range that he can reach you, and also how quickly it reloads, makes it the cheapest move in the game currently.
And yeah the gacha system is terrible but I still love this game and I still like BRs lol 🐿️
