this is a poorly written story. fred suddenly siding with his greedy mom and sister. how is she going to get any repayment, when they have no contract to repay? and she blocked them... and... why isnt the father of the kid paying ANYTHING? no real resolution or explanation
That first nasty comment would be the last time I had anything to do with her. Instant uninvite from the wedding. Someone that awful would only constantly make trouble and cause stress and then play the victim. 🤮 NOPE. No time or patience for that idiocy.
There is no St. James Hotel in Chicago. There's a St. James Church. The most expensive hotel in Chicago is the Penninsula. My personal favorite is the Intercontinental Hotel.
If they start at 6am, a lot 6hrs for prep, ceremony, teardown… they can have 3. If they have 4 rooms - that’s 12 wedding a day. If we assume they have weddings 7days of the week.. that’s 360 weddings… Absurd yes. But if it’s a large enough building , plausible.
One of my brothers married his wife when he was 19 and she was 15. 44yrs, 5 kids, 16 grandkids, 2 great grandkids, and they are still going strong. He's 63 now and they hold hands. Go on weekend dates. Sometimes she let's her kids know they can't visit on the weekend. "This is mine and your dad's time. Stay home and don't bring no babies"
Ruby did imply she would pay it. They could have sued her and she may have been liable for what they spent on that day. Even if she didn't outright say she would pay it, she could have been liable still for the implications.
There was no legal contact. Verbally discussing things and changing your mind isn't illegal in the US. She never she would give them any money. She only asked Carrie if she wanted $60,000 instead of $20,000. She also said to give her the receipts and she'll look at them. Ruby was very careful on how she worded things and knew they would let their greed cloud their judgement. It's not her fault they weren't listening
22 is *sometimes* a full grown woman. But life was simpler in the years when people were marrying in their teens, and there was less to learn before young adults were ready to function in the adult world. It's still possible to be ready at 22, but it's not as common as it used to be.
Carrie and Mandy totally had a “ Let’s take a shortcut through the dark alley “ moment, but continued shopping anyway. Ruby totally blocked them, so how is she supposed to get her money back? I actually thought the Fred character was not going to be an idiot. Why the flip? Carrie will take care of the baby in her free time. Too bad the character wasn’t lying. Imagine if she was a real person.
I would never give her 20k; I’d give her nothing. I suspect she is lying about pregnancy. The mil is living in a dream land. Forget that! She's lying i bet. Simply I’d say no and walk away. I'd go live in a hotel
Can we stop with the "22 is too young to get married"? It is possible to get married at that age and it not be a mistake or a disaster. Signed, someone who married at 22 and is still married 24 years later.
So she owns her parents house, bit looking for another house to live in, yet moves in with the mil? None of that makes sense. Jsut live in your house u dont nothing with but waste money on the tax
Well, living abroad she might have rented her parents house out. That way they wouldn’t be able to live there for the time being. And maybe that house isn’t convenient for them to live in in the long run either.
While I'm only halfway into the story I will say I know plenty of people who have not been able to move into their deceased family's or parents home, they also weren't comfortable with letting anyone else live their either. At least until they were able to handle their grief properly. From the sound of it Ruby left right after she lost her parents and probably never allowed herself to grieve in a healthy way. So yeah staying away from the house makes alot of sense when you look at it that way.
Let's stop with the 22 is too young to get married comments. It's emotional maturity not physical age that counts when getting married. I was 18 when I got married and my husband and I will be celebrating 30 years married this year. If you have the maturity of a 10 year old as an adult, it doesn't matter at what age you get married, if you have the maturity and thinking of a child, more than likely you will not have a successful marriage.
Why did you get married at 14? You were still a baby? Why would your parents agree to that? How old was your husband at the time? Sounds like a grooming story.
I got married at 50 for the first time. I was busy living life and traveling to settle down. By the time I was 40, I had been to France 5 times💁🏽♀️🇫🇷💋
22 is usually kind of young. It’s emotional maturity to be able to stay in a healthy marriage. Sis just wants an ATM and freedom to couch surf for eternity
@@norarivkis2513 no they were both lazy unemployed bums that sat on income support for over 20 years and had 5 children which somehow all turned out to have epilepsy bearing in mind there is no epilepsy on either side of the family. So the system was their ATM while they couch surfed
@@catrionamassey8521 Ah, I see. Too bad -- the ones I know who have gotten married young have either been pretty mature or just not stayed together very long. Those who have stuck together have been okay people. (I guess if an immature, self-centered person meets another who's just like them, watch out.)
I would never give her 20k; I’d give her nothing. I suspect she is lying about pregnancy. The mil is living in a dream land. Forget that! She's lying i bet. Simply I’d say no and walk away. I'd go live in a hotel And tell her fiance NO!!!!
It was a LITTLE hard to distinguish between when Carrie or Ruby is speaking.
Carrie's voice is a little ditzy and Ruby's is calm
Fred is a momma boy. Carrie could go to the courthouse to get married. Its ridiculous to think people will look down on her.
Hey Carrie. If you "don't want to be stuck raising a child at this age," there are ways to deal with that. Go talk to Planned Parenthood.
this is a poorly written story.
fred suddenly siding with his greedy mom and sister.

Ruby take your stuff and move into your parents old house and NEVER go back to that house and family
People...learn to say "thank you" whether you like something or not. Manners, dearie!
That first nasty comment would be the last time I had anything to do with her. Instant uninvite from the wedding. Someone that awful would only constantly make trouble and cause stress and then play the victim. 🤮 NOPE. No time or patience for that idiocy.
She is 22 yet acts like a 14 years old? I'm tired of immature adults.

People don’t act like this in the US. Maybe a rare few but in general no one acts this way!
as soon as the worthless man sided with his faily on "give up all your money, and all your plans, oh yes, and your inheritance" you RUN
Fred spent almost the entire story on Ruby's side...then decides to do a 180....what a shame...
Hundreds of wedding reservations every month??? How many weddings can they do in a day??? "Alright, you're done, get out, NEXT!"
If they start at 6am, a lot 6hrs for prep, ceremony, teardown… they can have 3. If they have 4 rooms - that’s 12 wedding a day. If we assume they have weddings 7days of the week.. that’s 360 weddings…

Yah, some places really are like that especially if it is "trendy".
Too long, dragged on to a lackluster ending that didn't really feel satisfying
Completely agree!! What an anticlimactic ending...
Just started this story. Fred made so many promises. Let’s see how long this lasts.
In laws already so greedy and rude

There's a phrase for that, detrimental reliance

Why dose he expect her to give her money, it’s his sister why don’t he give her his money?
This family is crazy 😮😮😮😮😮
22. IS A FULL GROWN WOMAN ! WOMEN HAVE BEEN STARTING FAMILIES IN LATE TEENS ! AND HAVING ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM WHATSOEVER

@defender4004 ob piously she didn't and then she just left it again. She obviously does not want to live in it ever. The story just does not flow

Don't think it's a house. She calls it a building and the sister wants to open a cafe in that building.
Got married at 23 been married 34 years next month
Congratulations!
Where is her pregnancy test at a doctor. Plus evem if pregnant doesn't matter lol
YES!!!!!!!!!! Yay she is moving out love it!!!!!!!!!!!!

MAMA SAID =. IF HAVE 2. ASK ? YOU CANNOT AFFORD IT !
Who is she marrying and why would the groom not support her?
Has no one heard of the morning after pill. Gp will administer

“I realised on Fred a lot…Living along again…” This video is poorly written. And that ending was very lackluster for an over hour long video.
The Sil is the worst!!!
CARRIE DONT WANT 2. BE STUCK TAKING CARE OF BABY 🍼 ! SHE CAN RUN 🍵 CAFE. INSTEAD OF CARRYING 4. BABY 🍼
Why are they "Texting" if they are right in front of each other. This story is so stupid n silly, UUUUGGGGHHHH
By Felicia, I mean Fred😡
The ending was awful. This story dragged on for an awful ending?
Yep- here take everything I own! But I have my freedom from you.
