I was looking forward to the completion of this one! It really came together well and the lighting makes it truly "shine". Thanks for bringing it home in more ways than one!
Looks really dope bro. I love the idea with those string lights. I'm sure he's gonna be happy when he gets it. Somethings are worth the wait... And this is one of them!!!
This is gr8 project man. It inspired me to create similiar setting for my friend, your wip photos and the final version helped me so much to figure out what i want to do [since my mate have very big display place i will try to do a third building there and some shop interior on the lower level]. Keep it up - you were always my inspiration when i started my first stpes in dio-wrodl few years ago.
My issue is what do you use to cut with? i picked up some foam from Lowes like this and quickly got discouraged with it, finding it took thick to cut through with an xacto or box cutter leaving me to try and cut some on the front and back and line it up and well let's just say it didn't work out like that.
xacto blades, box cutter. Lol. Get the skinny box cutter that can extend so you get a cut all the way through. Check out my tutorials as well as they may help.
Amazing. I'm trying to make my own as there pricey to buy. I have insulation foam at home. How did you paint the foam? And how did you make the brick wall effects?
Yo @Al Figures man, i can't seem to get my magnets to want to snap together, they are hard to work with.. Do you think that's just a measuring thing i'm doing incorrectly? and is there other ways to make your dio's collapsable with having to use magnets? I remember seeing the little hooks on i believe was the very first video you put out on youtube showcasing all your dios. Oh one last thing. If i'm using pink insulation foam board how can i get the boards to not be warped? Sometimes i notice that's also why the magnets don't want to meet and connect you know?... Thats man..
Bro you’re on another level!! 🙌🏼👏🏼 I always enjoy watching your dios! Question though, where do you get the individual lights (the one on the front left) with the button?? I can never find any..?
Damn I need something like this. I've been trying to look for videos of like a full city diorama but from what I've seen no one has made a full city unfortunately:(
Just curious. I know it’s old, but you said you lived in Lawrence…then went back to the city. Please tell me you are based in the Kansas City area. I say that because I check videos often, but your detail and easy explanations motivate me. I just started during the pandemic.
I have been a graffiti artist for over 20 years so my only advice is to build a time machine, go back and time and become a graffiti artist... lol. Honestly, graffiti is like any art, you can't just get a few tips and expect to do anything good. Just print out movie posters and stick them on the wall.
This is fantastic! Great attention to detail
Just when I think you have run out of ideas for alleyways you bust out another awesome piece of art. Sweet work as per usual, Al.
Thank you Turtle, hopefully the ideas never run out!
I make fire escapes like that too. Really nice work
Looks great. Really inspiring and makes me want to do something similar, but smaller, for my stop motions.
You got any of those stop motions on UA-cam or anything? I'd like to see them if you do.
Thank you
Once again, amazing work Bro!

Thank you SK, much appreciated!

Much appreciated sir, he received it and was happy with the diorama.
Awesome work as always Al! Imagine all the shots you can get from this beast!
Thank you very much!
Great work Al as always man!
Thank you very much sir
Love your work. True artist!
Gracias!
One of the best dios I've ever seen, and I find myself saying that about almost every dio I see from you. Kudos
Thank you Jules
Best dio I've ever seen
Absolutely incredible. I love how you go into detail about what's behind the diorama. I can't wait to make my own.
Thank you!

Awesome... so glad I could help in any way
Easily in the top ten of my favorite dios you've made. The details are just right. :{J

I don't know about that, but thank you.

@@AlFigures perfect. Thanks
Do I have to use Acrylic paint or just any hobby shop or walmart craft paint? Ima go to homedepot to get that drain..lol super great idea.
Beautiful. I follow you on instagram. Always amazing work.
Thank you Opt!
32" across, how much of that is JUST the gap between the buildings? Making my own street and your alleyway looks to be the perfect size

without* and thanks*
You're using the wrong magnets. They have to be "ceramic" magnets.
@@AlFigures got it.. Thanks man, i know you a busy man, thanks for the help.
warped boards are really difficult to straightened, make sure to look them over carefully before you buy them
@@AlFigures Thanks @Al Figures , i really appreciate your advice!
I'm building a fire escape but can't figure out a good way to mount it on my building. Any tips? Magnets? Be well Al.
I use the "stabbing technique" where I build the fire escape so it can peg into the foam board.
@@AlFigures Ok. Thanks. I was worried that wouldn't hold too well. I'm probably over thinking it. Keep up the great work. Be well.
@@1978pq no problem. As long as the hole in the foam isn't too much bigger then the peg, the foam is resilient
I would like to have one too
Me too!
Bro you’re on another level!! 🙌🏼👏🏼 I always enjoy watching your dios! Question though, where do you get the individual lights (the one on the front left) with the button?? I can never find any..?
Thank you Raul. Most of the finger lights I get are from Dollar Tree.
Damn I need something like this. I've been trying to look for videos of like a full city diorama but from what I've seen no one has made a full city unfortunately:(
Where did you learn? Because I would love to be able to do that.
If there was only a channel I could point to for you to learn. 😂😂😂

Do you have any tips for graffiti? My brick wall is looking plan

Great dio!!! Where did you get those lights on the building from that you clicked on? (Not the string lights.)
Hey man, where can I buy thoses door lights
I mention it several times in several videos. Like I’ve said a couple times, all the info you seek you will find in my videos.
@@AlFigures ok thanks man. Any video of how you build this step by step?
@@AlFigures I'll double check video. It's also great idea to add links of items used on video so if you have the time.
@@arni7810 all the videos I ever posted are on my channel, so if there is a step-by-step then it’s on my channel.
@@AlFigures ok man, so do recall you have a video of actually making a diorama step by step? Lol ok. Thanks for the help.
How much man 😆 I need one
It was a commission, sold before it was started.
@@AlFigures how much for something like this
Juan Alvarez hit me up via email, DM or PM for info on commissions.
Tunge suppressors lol
