Fun fact: Her 'curse' is actually the bloodline from the Crimson Moon dynasty of Khaneri'ah, making her a descendant of survivors from the cataclysm much like Kayea. And according to her voiceline about Pierro, aka the Jester, the House of the Hearth was founded by a descendant of the Crimson Moon dynasty.

I read those voice lines and he did not confirm anything about the person who started the House. They are theories but nothing connects things explicitly.

khaneri'ah had two dynasty's the crimson moon and the eclipse
the crimson moon (the khaneri'ah before what the game talks about) was before the eclispe (the khaneri'ah that the game talks about)
the people from the first dynasty (crimson moon) didnt have a god but they did worship the crimson moon wich still has a lot of mystery. but arlachino is from that bloodline however they were extinct so thta makes arlachino's excistense very curious. thats why she has those special red powers she calls them "not unlike a curse" so what i get from that its not a curse but has the same properties.
if you want to learn more about this i recommend watching some theories or read the book perenheri wich you can buy in fontaine. ofc these theorie vid contain spoilers so i would wait for that untill you finish her story quest and fontaine archone quest
The last part is a theory it isn't confirmed yet just because Pierro says the word "again" doesn't mean it was a descendant of the Crimson Moon dynasty it could mean many different things.
no it says it in her signature weapon that she IS a descendent of the crimson moon bloodline

And you’re right about that, their backstories are so well done and so sad too. It really makes you feel for them and understand them a bit more on how they ended up where they did.
as the "mother" story told their only goel is to grow up and compete in a battle royal against each other so one will become king, the redhaired girl is the biological daughter of the "mother" she is the lumidouce flower that was to be pruned, as one can see on her necklace. Thats why arleccino chose to be diffrent to be a unfeeling father not lying to the children she took in unlike the former knave wo was cruel and heartless and even did deals with the doctor, you can imagine those kind of deals, also arleccino is directly related to khanerie and the crimson moon dynasty theres a book about it called perinheri
Oh my goodness that is so messed up and they is why she ended up killing her. Wow wow wow!!!!!! Yeah it really seems like Arlecchino really cares about the children but then again I haven’t seen her in game so I could be totally wrong haha

Before Arle's quest came out most thought her friend offed herself as Arle's pose and reaction dont look like she would have been the one but the quest seems to imply that to not be the case. Tho i do believe Arle and the quest is lying and she did in fact of herself (she falls to the ground with the sword in her and you see Arle holding her blade down and it has no blood)

I feel all harbingers "care" like Childe with his family, Scaramouche knowing what he does is wrong but doesn't stop until Nahida stepped in, and Arlecchino with the orphans. That said, care is a bit of a strong word sometimes because Arlecchino does send orphaned children on fatui missions. So it seems all playable harbingers are morally grey. In the Hoyolab event with Arlecchino, they actually censored the blood of the guy in the teaser - so I think they're fine adding smudges here and there, but not actual blood on opponents since it seems they want to keep it rated 12+
Yeah some of these harbingers really have had a terrible upbringing to where becoming a Fatui really was the only option for them. And that makes sense since it’s not in the game they can add blood. That makes me wonder how the anime will be!
Getting Father is the reason why I did not pull for Kazuha last banner. I have Zhongli already as a shielder so I have no worries healing.

I don’t watched the vid yet, so idk if you noticed it, but arlechino says she will be a insensitive father bc “mother” pretended to care about the children, but she didn’t care. Meanwhile Arlechino really care about the children, and she didn’t want to be like “mother” so she became “father”
One more thing, Arlechino friend, Clervie, is the biological daughter of “mother”

@Jarock316 Nah, I don’t think is something that really matters to Arlecchino’s story quest
its so sad but arlechinno says in her story quest (not rlly a spoiler tho) that clervie said "i spent my whole life fighting for freedom, and now i realise the only freedom i have is the freedom to choose to die" and the sword handle was purposefully covered so you cant see whos holding it, so its implied she stabbed herself
Oh my goodness that is so sad!!!! I haven’t even met Arlecchino and I already feel for her. Just like Scaramouche, you find out how terrible their life has been which led them to the Fatui, it’s just so sad.
the anime will still take a long time because in addition to the quality shown in the teaser, the anime will probably be extremely lore heavy
we still have Natlan, Snezhnaya, Celestia and Khaenri'ah to visit and discover their secrets
Smart of you to recognize her play style isn’t your speed. I don’t think I would’ve liked playing her if I didn’t have characters who supported her so well that she’s not in combat for long, not to mention extensive familiarity with its systems; she’s not beginner friendly. My early days in Genshin were spent parked at AR50 and enjoying the lower difficulty while not having to pay much mind to artifacts. Everyone has their own preferred way to play and that’s the beauty of Genshin.
Also, it’s possible blood is more acceptable in marketing material due to the game itself’s rating.
Primos are just too valuable to be spending on characters I know wouldn’t fit my play style. Yes she is awesome and I of course would love to have her but I’m trying to build up my Cyno team plus working on my second team for the Spiral Abyss run that I want to do soon. Like you said everyone has their preferred way to play 😊
I finished her boss fight in the character quest with a team of Tighnari, Dehya, Candace, and Baizhu yesterday. Dehya initiated burn, Tighnari carried, Baizhu countered the "Bond of Life", Candace didn't do much but I like her too much to remove her. ^^'
Oh heck yeah! Congrats on that 🤩 I am going to be pulling for Baizhu and hoping maybe I can get a Tighnari in the process lol. I can’t wait to be able to do her story quest I can only imagine how good it is. Also I like Candace too 🤩

If you're skipping Arleechino then maybe you should think about going for Baizu, since he's another great support for Cyno.
Yup I am, that’s really why I have to skip her too. I really need Baizhu, I couldn’t get him last time and now he’s back and so soon so I have to try and get him 🤩
Father!!! I love her a lot, I'm so glad hoyo gave us so much for her. Her story really is so sad, and I agree that she does actually care about the kids, unlike her mother.
If you like backstory stuff, I know you watched Cyno's voicelines, but have you considered listening to other characters' voicelines and reading their character stories? There's so much lore in the voicelines - Cyno's pact was only referenced in his voicelines for a while but now it seems like it'll be relevant :3
Yeah her backstory is just as deep and sad as Scara. And yeah I do plan on listening to other character’s voice lines for sure. I am going to do the traveller next which should be fun. And I can’t wait until Cyno’s story quest 2! 🤩

@@K1ngBard 70% revolve around the past you saw. In the quest it’s framed like she could be the horrible “Mother” of the Hearth’s past to cause tension and stacks, and I found piecing it together really satisfying. Especially finding it a little cute since I pieced it together at heart warming sene that only makes sense with this context.
It won’t ruin the quest, but I think you’ll loose the satisfaction of piecing it together before the climax.
You will better understand when finish her story quest

It's crazy that Arlecchino was able to kill a Harbinger. (at the age of 17 too!) And the crescendo with the kick is just *chef's kiss*
I won't say too much about the animation, because you'll get more details when playing her SQ. Oh, and the song was released on YT music and Spotify if you want to listen you can.
The teaser:
A lot of people have very specific opinions and theories about The Knave due to voice lines by Childe and Scaramouche. They both said she was a crazed backstabber.
To the fan though, Childe hating her was interesting due to the fact that Childe is dubbed "The protector of children's' dreams" and has been shown multiple times to adore kids (there's a very tiny mini event where Childe is seen running around a forest in Inazuma playing make believe with a bunch of kids and Yoimiya. Traveler warns Yoimiya that Childe is dangerous, but she shrugs it off because Childe is making sure the kids were unharmed in a dark forest).
So you have the Knave raising orphans who will become Fatui agents, and.. what exactly is she doing with the orphans? Childe isn't going to be a fan of someone hurting children. And Scara's voice line just backed up Childe's. So how crazed is she? Will she backstab the Fatui? The kids? The Traveler?

Ah, you caught on to the locations so quickly! Nice! And the fact that Liyue wasn't present. I'm assuming the implications are that the HotH does not operate in Liyue. Which is a full discussion on its own, but i'm not qualified to have that. lol

@@K1ngBard i don t see the problem is a new mechanic an while playing with arlechino she generates a lot of energy so you will have your ultimate all the time whenever you need a full heal, and she is amazing in exploration you have most of the time the bond of live full doing a lot of damage and recharging from the enemies killed
i didn't know u reacted to her trailers i thought u gonna do it after u meet her but its fine im glad u like them and her kit is really simple she is one of the most fun character we had in genshin but i get it for newer player its seems complicated but its not and u dont need to worry about healing cuse the enemies will already be dead before the need for heal she is powerful i recommend u to get her if not now on her rerun

Father is so cool, I'm still salty for losing that 50/50
I honestly don't mind waiting for the anime but the longer it takes to release the higher is the quality bar
I'm also the same thing but with Hutao, because she wants to be on the brink of death I don't like that play style, but the guy thing is they father's kit can heal at any time using the ultimate and she doesn't need to be below 50% health to deal more damage so it's fine

The "Mother's" name is Crucabena a Gallic equivalent of the Welsh enchantress Ceridwen
Peruere is Arlecchino's real name prior to joining the Harbinger.
Clervie (pink hair) is Crucabena's biological child.
"Father” is a contrast to her “mother” who was caring and sweet on the outside but psychotic in reality. arle is strict and unfeeling but in reality seems to love and care for her children in her own way.

@@K1ngBard honestly,it's hard to say skill issue here considering your play style (which is using a weaker character compared to the mobs, kinda)
Also gotta consider that you have Neuvi which is way more powerful than Cyno.
I understand siding with your main, but there'll be time/place where you'll need 2 teams and or different elemental types...for ex. An event that requires you to trigger a specific reaction, so having options would be great.
But it's understandable to pick who you like, it's just kinda shame to skip a powerhouse.
@@Red-io7jg it's really not that hard -- if a character's play style just doesn't interest you or suit you, you just don't pull. powerhouse or not, the game is easy anyway. 🤔 always pull and play the characters that you actually want.
