#15 TEMU Mini Haul & Surprise Mould Make (not a good surprise!)

- In this video I unpack a mini TEMU haul. I've linked each item below and shown you what I paid in AUD. I was so excited to unpack one mould in particular and the moment I cleared all the packaging away I set up my workspace to cast it in epoxy resin. It was a matte mould ... sadly, I didn't look closely enough when I ordered. Determined to try again I mixed up a batch of Just Resin's ARC, used some Just Resin's ARC Pigment in Mulberry and made it again in a more suitable material.

This was a bit of a rollercoaster of emotions for me! But, in the end, all was well! I'm a little worried now that other moulds I've bought (including the little unicorn mould I unpacked here) are going to be matte too. Let me know your thoughts on shiny vs matte! Do you have this unicorn mould?
I love your videos, they’re so natural. You really are good at this. Nice Temu haul. Your pieces came out great, despite the resin owl being matte. I love the last owl. And owls do have a lot of detail with many colors, except the snowy owls, of course. 😃Nicely done. 👏🏻😁

i have the owl mould too...i've only made it with the eco resin...you can spray the epoxy owl with clear gloss spray paint for a gloss finish...thanks for sharing xo
Oh I'd love to see your eco resin owls! Great suggestion re the gloss spray coat over matte epoxy resin. It was just so disappointing as one of the reasons I love epoxy resin so much is the glass like finish you can get. I did learn a lot though and that's important! HI Erin! A little tip to help, candle & soap molds are typically going to be matte and if it says it is for epoxy resin, it is typically shiny. The pieces came out cute, especially the owls!! - Beverly

@BlossyBTas you're welcome, we all had to learn and the other thing we overlook is the measurements of molds...lol and then we get this miniature mold and be like, that's not what I ordered🤣🤣
