@tpobrienjr communist countries that control everything. Yep hut 98% of the worl has shortwave stations as well as an abundance of am/fm stations. Interesting app to check out is called radio garden

Everywhere except the Cell Phone Bands in the USA, other countries may have additional restrictions on listening.

In 65 and I got my Novice License you could not renew it.

Got my Novice in 1958, no renewal, 75W, CW, lotsa fun. Incentive to study, got Gen in 60.
