- The Japanese Akune Bontan is a giant grapefruit used for ceremonial purposes in the New Year period. Expensive, and not really grown to be eaten, I cut one open.

I have been using Backblaze’s unlimited cloud backup to protect all my data - terabytes of it - for a flat monthly or yearly fee, for years. I highly recommend them as a backup solution.

Your review approach works surprisingly well on fruit! I'd definitely watch more videos from you on life and culture where you live.
Great idea! Looking forward to more similar videos. Japan is such an amazing place.
How is the sibilance ? Bass texture ? I know I know , I'm just kidding but in all seriousness, interesting fruit. I like learning something new everyday. Thank You for the Vid.
Can drive Susvara xD? now seriously, thanks for commenting and teaching us other things of general culture of Japan :)
I good design for closed-cup headphones perhaps
Thanks
Haha! Love it. Bring Japan to all of us.
Interesting! I never heard of these ceremonial fruits
Interesting, please review more fruits
How is the soundstage compared to a Yuzu?
Bigger, especially in the mid-range...of my body after eating it. 😆
I like you
I think you'll do well with food reviews too!:)
More fruits sir, this is lovely 😀
but can it run the Susvara?
Same with citron lemons (growing a couple of trees in Thailand) I guess used for oil or grating?
But how does it sound on the TT2?
Interesting! Now where can I buy these headphones?
This is not a grapefruit it is a pomello or pomelo (Citrus maxima). Known also as a shaddock and with various other names. Grapefruit were hybridised from pomellos but they are quite distinct.
and a poorly grown one. Such fruit costs like $1 per piece in China and it’s quite sweet. Japan is too cold for such fruit to grow properly.
@@allansh828 There are about a zillion different kinds of pomellos. Smooth or gnarly rinded, with more or less pith, juicier or drier, sourer or sweeter. Akune has a humid subtropical climate, good for growing citrus. This looks like a very well grown one to my eyes.
How does it sound?
that’s just a poorly grown pomelos, and the Japanese charges $100 for it? 😂😂 Is it caused by radioactive pollution?
