For attaching the sticky, I picked up,a useful trick (I think it might have been from Natasha Foote): peel up and fold back just ONE CORNER, then line the cardstock up to the opposite side (still covered with release paper)., hold it down and smooth in onto the exposed part of the sticky. Now it is in place, peel the remaining release paper of and smooth the remaining card stock on. Works amazing, give it a try…
These are stunning and I couldn't stop admiring your leaves either. When I do inlay, I put adhesive on an entire piece of blank card stock. Then I stick my cover plate die cut piece on top. Then there is already adhesive ready for you to stick down the inlay pieces. No removing the backing paper from tiny die cuts. Thanks so much for sharing! 💞
I really enjoyed hearing how much you loved your cards, Kellye and how it came together like you’d wanted….. I NEVER got tired of listening to you talk about how beautiful the leaves were!! It made MY heart happy. These are showstoppers!!! The thumbnail caught my attention very quickly on the phone and I HAD to watch it immediately!!! I’m newer to stamping and 64 but was gifted some embossing powders. I have 2 huge bottles of ultra thick clear and one ultra thick black. I need to gift one bottle because I’ll never use it all. I’m going to try this technique. My alcohol inks, tools and yupo just arrived last week but I don’t have glossy paper…😂😂😂😂 I only thought I was ready to try alcohol inks!! I’ll order now and this will be my first time using them. Again, loved your excitement and joy in how beautiful the technique you came up with turned out.. Blessings, Nancy Rolfe
Stunning cards but those maple leaves! Thanks for sharing techniques with us. Make sure you send those cards to people that love them! I keep all of my homemade cards sent to me by my friends!❤️
I love fall colors 😅. I do miss summer. So beautiful cards Kelly. I'm on your pages. I love, love the leaves. The other card is virly beautiful as well, but I know I'm not that patience to put all the small pieces back in there😂. Nooo I will never get tired of your beautiful cards❤
Hi Kelly, The cards are gorgeous! Especially the one with the maple leaves. That one is stunning!🧡🍁💚💜 I will never get tired of your video's. So bring it on with all your beautiful cards and story time! Saying hi from the Netherlands. ❤
Your stained glass creations make my heart sing! I think I’m a bit of a leaf fanatic, especially with the veins in them. I love both your cards. I still have 2 giant bottles of UTEE from back in the day. The cover plate was gorgeous but girlfriend, I’ve gotta say, you’ve got more patience than me with the inlay dealy. Love the look but I can already hear myself cussing. I’m super inspired and can’t wait to play with this. TFS! 🍁 Ali K.
Gorgeous cards Kelly. You go girl….get that UTEE out. I still have mine in clear and colours. Once you have all the die cut pieces in place we used to cover the whole panel in UTEE before fixing it to the card base. The white background could also have a layer for that epoxy look. I am going to dig mine out again now. Thank you for reminding us of these wonderful supplies that haven’t been used for so long. Take care. T x 🇦🇺
Beautiful. The white bling really tied in with the white on the sentiment, balancing it out and putting that card over the top. Also so weird how one little detail can change the whole thing.
I don't even remember the last time I used my UTEE so I will make some leaves like this! They are gorgeous! I've been cardmaking since 1990 so I have all that old stuff. The biggest issue is finding it! I also have a full ream of King James glossy CS that I've saved forever!
These are lovely, Kelly!! I used to make Stained Glass (when I had more space), and this technique works really well to reflect the look. Both cards are beautiful, but I must say, I like the maple leaves card the best; the outline detail gives the appearance of soldering. 💖
So lovely! I’ll be doing the leaves, but for me, I make hundreds of cards yearly for Cards for Troops, Cards for Cubs (foster kids), and family and friends, folks in nursing homes, etc. I don’t have the time or patience to do such a detailed inlaid card, but I appreciate the beauty of yours! I might try it with a simpler cover die though! The alcohol ink on CS is a great tip. I WILL be making the leaves! I’ve got a large bottle of UTEE, from way back when. I even know where it is! TFS Kelly! I love videos!
Oh Kelly..these are to die for! What a great technique and the colors you chose were the Best. Thank you so much..gotta try this. Autumn IS my fave color.
Haha, Kelly, I, too, have one of the old UTEE bottles, mine might be even older than yours, probably mid-90s (oh, yes, I am THAT old 😂). Still works a treat. I will certainly try something along your amazingly beautiful idea! As always, thank you for the inspiration. Kind regards from Germany , Nicola
Wow! I had never heard of that product for heat embossing. And get sick of you? I think not! Two videos today. WhooHoo!!!! Thank you so much for everything you showed and the why of what you used. God bless!!!! ❤
Wow the leaves are fab i have the original Utee not used for ages must try this one although have leaves but sadly no veins trying to come up with an idea thank you so much
Gorgeous! Already watched on Honey Bees channel, but wanted to hop over and leave a like and comment! Love having so much content and inspiration from you!
LOVE the leaves and who would have thought about UTEE? It reminds me of Suze Weinberg who covered everything in UTEE and made some fantastic jewelry pieces!
These are beyond gorgeous. I don’t know that I have the patience or time to try this, but I saved it to rewatch, just in case. You said you didn’t know who to send them to. What about your friend that is sick? I’m sure she would appreciate them and love them like you would. FYI, I did finish your altenew class from last weekend. So much fun! But I’m loving all these honeybee products you have been working on lately. And you enabled me last week into buying some of that stuff. Can’t wait to play when it gets here Monday.
I just had to watch this video again just to hear you get so excited!! It makes me happy and lifts my spirits… I’m sure I’ll watch it again! I’m ordering some leaves so I can try to make some. They ARE beautiful!! Congratulations on your success….so well deserved ❤
You show cased the stained glass technique beautifully! And you're right about the embossing powder. I laughed when you brought it out, I have that same exact brand and it has lasted forever! Gorgeous cards Kelly! TFS.😊💜
Love that you did this technique. I have some old Utee and some other really thick embossing powder. Won’t tell you how old my stuff is Lol. I like the comment in gold on white. These cards are just amazingly gorgeous. Sorry, I had to come back and finishing the video😊
I just saw Mary Planco use the thick chunky embossing powder! I’ve only done small pieces shiny before and use Judikins glue, but I put that powder on my list. I can’t get over the gorgeousness of these colors! Stunning!
Gorgeous!! The Ultra Thick makes a difference, I didn’t have it when I did this and the layers of reg embossing powder eventually did the job but I don’t think it looked as nice as this❤
Very, very pretty. I think I must figure out how to use the stained-glass look with my nativity die for my Christmas cards this year…. 🤔 Thank you for the lesson and idea! (Me too on getting the hard part out of the way first!!)
Kelly, thank you so much for this idea of using alcohol inks on glossy card stock! I have been trying, for years, to make a nice stained glass window without all the paper piecing. (Yes, I have done that and it took days!) So I love your ideas and techniques! But, most respectfully, I have a lot going on in my life, too, and love to escape it by watching these videos. I hope you understand! 💚
Both are beautiful! Ultra Thick Embossing Powder - it’s been a minute since I’ve used that. Can you do something with eyelets? 😂 The inlays is so pretty, but man, some of those bits are tiny! I think the card with the leaves is more my speed. Thanks, Kelly!
OMG, Kelly, you showcased two of my favorite techniques! I thought I was the only one still using the UT embossing powder. I love using it on the less intricate dies. And I just finished making a set of cards using the inlay technique. I feel that this technique adds sophistication to my cards. Your cards are absolutely stunning, as always!
For attaching the sticky, I picked up,a useful trick (I think it might have been from Natasha Foote): peel up and fold back just ONE CORNER, then line the cardstock up to the opposite side (still covered with release paper)., hold it down and smooth in onto the exposed part of the sticky. Great suggestion. Thank you.
Five-ever 😄😄😄😄
How did I manage to live 65 years without hearing that before?
I LOVE it, and I'll be using it.😎
You should be proud of the experimentation, stick-to-it attitude and patience, and the beauty.
You weren’t kidding they are beyond stunning!
Kelly, I just Love both cards. And I wouldn't ever get tired of you .

Oh, those leaves are gorgeous!! Prettiest ones I've seen this season.

The cover plate one would look awesome with a Matt black card where you’ve done the gold. Beautiful work. Thank you for sharing.

I’ve never seen your channel before, but these cards were so stunning it just reached out and grabbed me! Gorgeous!!!
Beautiful. The white bling really tied in with the white on the sentiment, balancing it out and putting that card over the top. Also so weird how one little detail can change the whole thing.
I could not possibly get tired of you.....I love your videos, ideas, techniques...everything!
Beautiful cards ♥️
This frame die is awesome. Even the gold without the inlays is cool for thanksgiving and winter thank you's when you're bored of snow lol
Kelly, I agree with you I really love what you did to those leaves. They are so beautiful. TFS Kathy from Sydney Australia
Love these cards! I’m in the Sierras of California, and it was 32 degrees this morning; the dew is on the pumpkin!
Both cards are beautiful! But my favorite is the two leaves!!! Stunning! Now I have to look my my extra thick embossing powder😁
How beautiful. Loved the box shaped card, so pretty. Thanks for sharing all your wonderful ideas using these products.
Okay, Show-Off..lol Those are so wonderful, Kelly!
These are freakin’ gorgeous! Especially the leaves!❤
Well, I also could not stop looking at the leaves!! They’re beautiful. Also: I’m with you in OH - definitely done with our lovely Indian summer. 😢

Blown away by these lovely leaves and the stained glass look! ❤
I really like the coloring technique. The product used really made the colors pop and leaves 🍁 were so colorful!
So pretty! Love the magenta added in!

You show cased the stained glass technique beautifully!
And you're right about the embossing powder. I laughed

I have several colors of UTEE embossing powders from back in the day, beautiful cards and technique!
Love that you did this technique. I have some old Utee and some other really thick embossing powder. Won’t tell you how old my stuff is Lol. I like the comment in gold on white. These cards are just amazingly gorgeous. Sorry, I had to come back and finishing the video😊
Both cards are beautiful but those leaves are stunning Kelly. Could never get sick of your videos 😊
Those are beautiful leaves! I’ll have to try glossy and inks. Beautiful cards.
Those are gorgeous! Love the color combo.
Beautiful cards. Thanks for sharing
I just saw Mary Planco use the thick chunky embossing powder! I’ve only done small pieces shiny before and use Judikins glue, but I put that powder on my list. I can’t get over the gorgeousness of these colors! Stunning!
Unbelievable! Absolutely ❤❤
Thank you for reminding me to get out that UTEE. I never think about it. These are beautiful!
So bright and beautiful. Love the colors on the cards.
These cards are amazing, I may give this technique a try since the colours are great!
Gorgeous!! The Ultra Thick makes a difference, I didn’t have it when I did this and the layers of reg embossing powder eventually did the job but I don’t think it looked as nice as this❤
2 thoughts - 1)can double emboss with regular clear, and 2)post-it on back of image to be embossed if there’s no handle. Love your ideas! Thanks.
Beautiful design!
Awesome cards Kelly!
Absolutely stunning!!!❤❤❤
Thanks for the reminder about UTEE. I have a large jar of it.
Absolutely awesome. So pretty.
So, so beautiful ❤❤❤
Beautiful cards and colors! You’ve inspired me to give it a try. I have all the supplies including the UTE which is probably older than yours. 😅
These are stunning cards! I will certainly be trying this technique.❤
Gorgeous! Anxious to try it. I do have the old original UTEE, thank you for the inspiration!
Beautiful technique, awesome cards
Love these cards. Love ink blending. Thanks
Very, very pretty. I think I must figure out how to use the stained-glass look with my nativity die for my Christmas cards this year…. 🤔 Thank you for the lesson and idea! (Me too on getting the hard part out of the way first!!)
Kelly, thank you for another amazing video and technique.
Stunning results. A must try!
Awesome, Kelly!
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
Wow these are spectacular. ❤❤❤
Lovely Kelly! Fall is my favorite time of year especially because of the falling leaves. These are stunning! TFS
Both are beautiful! Ultra Thick Embossing Powder - it’s been a minute since I’ve used that. Can you do something with eyelets? 😂 The inlays is so pretty, but man, some of those bits are tiny! I think the card with the leaves is more my speed. Thanks, Kelly!

the leaves are awesome.
I love the leaves!! ❤
You make that look easier than it is but I did find that leaving it all overnight to dry helped. I think mine looked better the next day
Stunning
Stunning cards❤
Love the leaves! I think my UTEE might be the same age as yours.
