I ran an M42 for ten years when I owned a Landscaping business in south Florida. By far, my Walker was superior to all others. And we tried a lot of different machines. Having retired and moved to Georgia, I bought an old fashioned tractor from the big box store. Kinda like going from an F22 raptor to a Piper Cub. When I found out Walker was making a residential model, I had to get one. 18 months in and it has preformed flawlessly. The mulching option eats leaf’s. My yard looks great. Seriously, if you have a couple of acres and you really want quality, this is a good choice.

I mow yards part time to supplement my income. I have only done 300 hrs/3yrs on the Raptor SD 36" and have now sold it. Is the R48" solid enough to tackle the jobs. It's really not any more than an acreage owner would use. It's cheaper than the commercial" units. I still use the 21"three speed" push" mower alot and I think this thing can do more of that . I use mulch kits because getting rid of grass is expensive/time and $-wise. Sub tropical Australia East coast.
How many gallons per hour does it use?
Operated mower for an hour ate the deck belt dealer warranty hopefully just a fluke really love the cut
All it needs is a ghs option and it’s perfect.

Think I might snag one of these but but the question is can these do good on hills that ALWAYS the ultimate choice when buying a riding mower otherwise this mower looks great! And of course fun
Great question! The best way to confirm if any mower will suit your mowing needs is to try one out on your property, but that said, the Walker Mower does great on hills. A mower's hillside stability depends on its center of gravity and traction on the drive tires to the ground. The Walker sits really low to the ground and its center of mass is in the middle, where the drive tires contact the ground. I’ve been looking at the model R series for about a year now. I like the 42” one they have at my dealer. But idk if I want to spend $6000 on a mower without demoing it first. I’ve rode walkers for about 7 years with other companies and now I have my own I’ve owned two toro 42” time cutters and their awsome. But the walker 42” with the accelerator bagger is just perfect for what I need. I just don’t now about spending the money without running one for a week atleast. Walker is always been my #1 choice and I definitely want one for my own company I just am stuck on what to do.

Nice mower, I’m undecided between this model and a toro HD48inch, which is more suitable for light commercial jobs...... the next model up is too expensive

Shame 3100 hydros were not fitted as the 2200 hydros are the weakest component of this mower, as they lack precise control necessary to operate safely on wet slopes.
