I've been making homemade snacks for my kids, family for quite a while. Cookies, cakes, etc using things like applesauce, honey. Healthier than all that stuff is store bought premade. I can control salt, sweetness. Little pricey to accumulate the flour, cane sugar, honey, et. But I buy on sale. Kids love it & I save lots.

I add a little pure maple syrup when I make oatmilk. Homemade will taste somewhat different. No chemical to keep it longer on store shelves & refrigerators.

Hey Naiome, I dont usually comment on your videos but I had to do it today. I love that you are juicing and your kids are enjoying the juices. When you get the funds try to get a cold press juicer, it works better and gives you more of the nutrients that you are looking for. Girl you made me laugh making the milk. Next time take the skin off the almonds and you only need a little vanilla in it. I have never heard of anyone putting cinnamon and honey in milk but to each his own lol. the cheese cloth is good but a milk bag is better cause less pulp comes through. Its not gonna taste like the store milk because you are not putting all the unnecessary junk in it. Let it get cold for your first taste. It will last about 3-4 days if done right. Keep up the good work and congratulations to your kids.

Yes I’ve watched multiple videos of other people putting cinnamon and honey in the milk to add flavor and using a cheese cloth . That’s why I tried it like that . Yes I let it get cold and I still didn’t like it 😂 . But I’ll keep trying it to get use to it . Taking the skin off all those almonds is a lot more work 😂 . I wanted to start juicing b it it’s not even worth it it’ll just be another big July item in my kitchen unused I see when u juice it’s always foamy and u only get a few drops of juice and the rest just be foamy I heard u suppose to strain it for a hour and let it separate but ain’t nobody got time for all that I be wanting to juice it and drink it
