When its cold and wet I just wear the rain pants. I sweat but I stay warm. In warmer weather I just wear pants that dry out quick when they get wet. I don't put on a rain jacket until I absolutely have to. Thanks for sharing your hunt.

It’s a shame it wasn’t captured by a New View Hunting trail camera, as you had already thrown it in the trash. We've completed the product upgrade, and most of the issues hunters had reported have been resolved. I hope when you receive the next sample, you’ll have a better experience. Man, what a great spot to hunt! I would set up a spot along the edge of that big bog and start calling!! He'll come in ! I use the Cabelas Bone Dry (think that's right) line of gear, works great for setting in a blind, spot and stock or when the Temps get frosty! I will say that it is not the best breathable material, but I have no real complaints about it! Thanks for sharing...stay safe out there!!😎🤙👍🤙👍🇨🇦

Spent the weekend down there as well surprised we didnt run in to ya lots of bare and moose signs on the trails and bogs hoofully you have some luck buddy! Maybe catch ya down there next time for a chat cheers

The Sitka thunderhead works really well, gortex but also quiet and somewhat breathable. But as hard as you work you might be better off with shorts on

Great video, that bear looked liked he was really enjoying the bait you put out so I'm sure he'll be back. I can't recommend any water-resistant pant brands but you could try treating the ones you have with Scotchgard Durable Water Repellent to give you some protection.

I wear duxback they are fleece and waterproof wear them duck hunting I think that’s how you spell the name
As far as I know, gore-Tex is still pretty much the best there is for totally waterproof, and breathable, but even with that you’ll still build up a sweat if you’re working hard. There are some treatments for fabric that would help, and being fabric, they’d still breathe. I’m looking into waterproofing a cotton jacket. I’ll let you know if I find something good.
Good luck on the hunt. I thought sure that after a night of rain, he’d have been back at the bait. You may want to wall in your hiding spot, just a little though. Keep yourself at least a little hidden.

An otter attacked my black lab a couple years ago while he retrieving a stick in the water, almost drowned him but I managed to get him back in but he did have some bites on his face and legs. Very scary
