Hi, I have a couple of questions about the product. I no longer have the instruction manual and noticed the remote battery drains very quickly, lasting only a few days to two weeks. Is there a way to turn off the remote after use, or does it shut off automatically? Also, the speed settings seem slow. Even when I set it to level nine, it feels like it’s stuck on the lower levels. Am I missing something? Any help would be appreciated.
Have you tried changing the batteries? As far as the speed issue, you can set the pan speed to your liking in program 1 on the remote. If the pan speed is set to 1, it will not surpass that speed in the other programs.
Hi! In your estimation, how precise is the control? On lowest speeds, how small movements cam you make in both axes? I'm interested whether I can use it (on top of the star tracker) with a camera with 400mm lens, how precisely would I be able to aim at something?
00:45 How much faster do you suppose speed 9 is over speed 7? (I doubt it is twice as fast?) It looks like it took about 25 seconds to rotate 180 degrees on speed 7. I'm looking for a cheap remote controlled pan/tilt head that can rotate fairly quickly. I was hoping for one that rotates 180 degrees in around 15 seconds or less (less is better).
@@starsandnightvision thanks for the feedback! I looked into the yt 2000. I don't need the face tracking but it says it does 4rpm which is 180 in about 8 seconds. I guess I'm going to give it a try.
Excellent setup you got there! 👏
Thanks m8. It's pretty much complete now.

Wow😮
Cool
Nice setup! What clamp/bracket are you using to hold the NVG10 and attach it to the zifon YT-1200?

@@starsandnightvisiondid you use an extra extension piece between the clamp and the zifon mount?
@@LightBaka Yes 1/4 inch screw hole both sides.

Hi and sorry for the late reply. Quite precise, but first you have to set the speed to 1 on the remote control (program 1).

No it's not twice as fast. Speed 9 takes 25 seconds for 180 degrees, i tested.

@@mdees88 Look at this one, it's fast; ua-cam.com/video/D2EfjNloWvo/v-deo.html
Hi!) Cool, equipment for capturing stars, but the resolution is better for shooting activities, dude!) L9_😎👌💥🔭🌠📹🍒
is the zifon yt2000 more advanced?
It has AI face tracking. Not worth it for me paying double the price.
Ok bro thanks
Also the YT-2000 doesn't have 360 degree rotation on autopilot. You have to do it manually.
