@Kosename well for one, it’s a new decade … if people never stopped making music like this, where would the originality be? it’d get repetitive eventually. secondly, there are definitely people who still make music like this - Kehlani, Gallant, Brent Faiyaz, Jvck James, Summer Walker (minus the trap hi-hats and 808), and Joyce Wrice to name a few. Not to mention The Neptune’s are still around producing hits too…
