You simply insert the mopping plate assembly. It clicks in place. When it's in place, it wont go on carpets. When its not, it will go everywhere it can access.

My 920 lasted 6 years and I just bought the N10+. Haven't had any issues.
I bought one, great product, Amazed how much dirt it picks up.

It's saying to remove the remaining water and the mopping pad in the deebot
